We are a group of 9 from the US, Ireland, Australia and Canada visiting India now and all of us have been knocked out from food illness for the past 5 days. 3 of us haven’t been able to leave our rooms in several days and we’re staying at a 5 star hotel being extremely careful about what we’re eating and drinking.
My parents visited India a few years back. They also ended up in a 5-star hotel, and my mother told me the first thing she asked the receptionist is if they have foreign food, lol.
As an Indian i myself i have not eaten anything from the streets for five years advice not to eat street food here people care only about money not about health...

I have friends who have visited India and every single one of them told me after eating some of the foods their "Bombay Doors" opened and would not stop opening.... 🤮 I've watched this video and all I can say is I'm no longer surprised the food made them physically sick.

Let’s put it this way, just 20 years ago the majority of India had no public toilets for its 1.4 billion population. So they would just pretty much shit in any open spot they could find. The govt is trying to change the culture and public image of India. They started improving the sanitation and are building public toilets but most people refuse to use them. It’s hard to change something so deeply engrained in a society.

Also avoid Indian restaurants in other countries, even in UK. I saw the news reporting they were washing themselves in sinks in the kitchen where they prepare customers food. I also saw they kept all dishes on the floor and were sweeping dust and dirt around dishes! 🤢

I had once had a nightmare. I had dreamed that I was in India and there was a flood. But the water was yellow and there was floating feces and dead bodies like vomited and rotten food. I woke up and almost had to throw up. Therefore, I disgust me everything that has to do with India.

used to be a restaurant manager in NYC (Korean).Out of curiosity, asked my pest control guy "what kind of restaurants are the worst?" he replied, " Indian restaurants are the worst of all and Chinese restaurant ". All the restaurants in NYC has some kind of problems but I don't eat unless I could see the kitchen from the dinning room. I once dined in a small mom and pop Thai Restaurant (now they are huge) called Wonder Siam on the 10th ave... in order to get to the restroom, youl'll have to pass through the kitchen. and they were so clean. no wonder they got big and making the bucks now.
The dirtier the restaurant the more delicious the food.
