How Long Till I Get Food Poisoning in India? (not long)
India is one of the few countries I see on YT where the locals are absolutely NOT camera shy.
Most of them are insanely delusional af about how charming they are, that's why they seems so confident. I've met some indian immigrant in my country and not single one of them are introverted kinda person. Also their moral aren't that favorable, local here be bitching a lot about them, my sister once got an expired food from indian neighbors
Because they’re so surprised anyone would visit there.

I’m Indian and can confirm hygiene has always been a huge problem here, there is no civic sense at all. You’ve to be selective of what you consume here, don’t just randomly consume from the first street food stall you come across, look around, i’m sure you’ll find a cleaner place to eat. It is what it is here.
Really ? Go to restaurant meet stalls which are actually hygienic why you are going to unhygienic place which has reduced nowadays and saying ohhh hygiene is a problem , India has been changed and still changing , change your thinking buddie and see this guy's channel is full of showing negatives [only negative] of India,
@@auromai29 This is somewhat true. I went to Delhi and a local friend guided us. We ate at clean restaurants and bars, travelled around by grab and left with a very good impression. I did find Jaipur a little more disappointing, probably because we didn't have the local guide. This guy doesn't want food poisoning but is eating in cheap local eateries where the locals can probably withstand any bacteria, but he clearly will not be adapted to it.
@@auromai29Whoa there bud, calm down lmao. Obviously India is changing but not at some super speed lol. Indians still have trouble not openly defecating on the beaches or streets (Don't you remember the poo in the loo campaign?) and tons of street vendors are extremely unhygenic. My Indian brother in law came to visit us in the US and he was shocked at how hard we had to work just to keep the lights on. He also immediately noticed how distant people were.
Pani puri was my Delhi downfall. India was my first time out of America and I visited with a friend who was born a raised in Delhi. The trip was amazing, and my friend made sure to keep me away from sketchy street food situations…all the way up until the last day. Hours before heading to the airport, my friend took me to the street vendor he grew up patronizing and declared it perfectly “safe”. By the time we got to the airport, I knew I effed up, royally. What followed was the longest, most torturous 17 hours of my life flying back to the States.

1. Only eat from stalls that are popular, food is hot and continually being made.
2. Always wash your hands before eating.
3. Carry a bottle of hand disinfectant and use it before eating.
4. Drink only bottled water - from leading brands.
5. Don't eat any raw salad or dressings.
6. Buy and keep required medicines with you beforehand.
7. If at first you feel it is too spicy, leave it alone. Don't try your luck. 😂😂

The Indian man is very wise when he said that people in America are not connecting with one another
But they also don't get food poisoning every morning and are able to breathe fresh air.
@@Sumea_Saukkowhat does that have to do with anything...
We connect. Just bc we're not boning in stalls 24/7 doesn't mean we're not. I bet that dude has never been to a church in the US, at a college campus, a music festival, or anything else with large crowds. The US is too diverse for one person from India to imagine. Sounds like he's repeating some bs he heard from an 80's cassette tape.
@@Sumea_Saukko Indians probably get food poisoning once per month since their immune systems are used to it. The food probably has to be FOUL for them to get sick

I'm so happy when I see people paying for his food instead of trying to scam him like many others. There are good people everywhere.
after watching his videos and reading all the comments here, i'm in a shock, i didn't know our country(India) to be as disgusting as it's being perceived by everyone, specially by the channel's community. so it's quite shocking to read a +ve comment like urs as well. I admit that there's so much poverty in India, and there're many creeps around here, that's the reason I'd also think twice before taking a turn into any random road in my state or country unlike our guy did in all of his videos playing on his life. But this doesn't prove that there ain't any decency left in the country and there's too little that'd be considered good. There's so much to write, but this hatred against us in the comments makes me feel like anything. Thoug the videos show the poor condition of **a part** of India, the channel's community is reflecting it's poor mindset here too
@@sv3207 Not sure how you wouldn't know it's disgusting.. The pollution is insane, and one of the leading causes of death in India is related to food poisoning / diarrheic issues.

How is the food dirty? 90% of the video was him enjoying food and talking with locals, he didn’t even get food poisoning like the title claims. He just burped and made a reference to a stomach bug.
@@taykswantedposter2465 lmao do you see any hygiene being practiced? Its clearly dirty just the locals have built up a tolerance for eating it so long.
@@kevo300 Do I see any hygiene being practiced? That’s a dumb question because the video doesn’t showcase the methods and practices they used to make the food, but from what I’ve seen they use utensils to maneuver, stir, and serve food. So assuming they’re normal people who shower, and wash their hands regularly then it should be fine. If you disagree, then what’s the evidence to support it?

I am also an American who has has the pleasure of roaming the back roads of many countries. Love to see another who is willing to dive in and mix it up with the locals. Most do not realize just how much fun it can be.
I love Indian food, but have seen and heard many horror stories. But, I love the sun cooked snails along the roads in Cambodia, and my local buddy wouldn't even tough those, lol.
The trick is to only eat from well known stalls and family restaurants where the food is hot and being made continuously without letting it sit for long..India has a very big economic disparity so most of the working class men eat from the local stalls and are used to handling the food and it’s ways which is not the same for just foreigners but also other Indians not used to the same..Hence the ‘family restaurant and stalls’ part where food is usually a little more expensive and hygienic confirmed by food inspection standards(I would t even call it expensive according to American restaurant charges and the conversion rate) but compared to the former. Also you’ll notice the more south u go,the cleaner it gets you’ll see yourself if u ever do visit..But north or south,it’s chaotic all the same and the peace within the chaos is something special to India..hope u do get to see the place and experience it yourself..and come out with your gut intact with visiting the right places! If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. Once been there. Ate some nice mango… shitted and puked like a powergun afterwards 😂
Man I love the way people are so kind to you, its so heartwarming :)
love your authenticity, you don't sugar coat your videos like most of the travel youtubers who try to be all Kumbaya.
I like your format the best dude. Just a reg dude knee deep in the chaos and keeping it real 👍
I appreciate their friendliness and conversations
Man this is one of the most entertaining tourist channels I've come across. Thumbs up.
i died when he offered to pay you and you just said “ok” 💀
brother: i am from georgia
that man: bring back trump 😅🤣🤣🤣😂
i love this kind of videos! I'm in the middle of India from my couch!😊 Very good work!
greetz from germany!
its interesting how different your interactions are with people since everyone knows american politics and culture.
When I was in Japan so many people asked me "where are you from?"
when I told them I'm from the Netherlands they're all like" ...hmmm cheese and windmills, thats all I got."
I love the way you speak and how confident you carry yourself. You have such a fun radiant energy that makes your videos so enjoyable to watch. I subscribed within the first 5 seconds of watching.
I have a friend that is originally from India and has lots of family there. She went home in April for a visit and on day 3 stepped into a pothole and badly twisted her ankle. While recovering from that she got food poisoning from street food. She said that she knew better but ate it anyway. Poor girl.
Oh Connor (sp?)! Love your POV videos, sense of adventure and commentary... but my man! Travel tip for ANYWHERE 101... especially, particularly, always...when eating local food... especially street food... particularly when eating with your hands... ALWAYS wash your hands!!! Not doing so is the #1 cause of food poisoning... literally EVERYWHERE in the world! Whether in the east, west, north or south (best precaution while also crossing your fingers that anyone prepping/handling the food has done the same ) Also, based on this video it looks like you may be left-handed, however worth noting it is generally a common/universal/cultural, and the most hygienic practice to eat with your RIGHT hand... Sending you (and your stomach) good vibes and safe travels 🤞😵💫🤓
it’s incredible how friendly the locals are. they just want to be friends with everyone
Cause they are poor
LoL
Yes they are friendly to tourist. But don't try to move there or marry one of their people
Desperation breeds it, unfortunately. The richer someone is the less need there is for human interaction.
They're social people, live surrounded by thousands of people every day, and value virtue above money. As should be.
I only started watching this guys videos and I am hooked, love his character and the adventures!
I love how friendly and welcoming everyone was to you, people actively wanted to come up to you and talk to you. I mean sure probably some of that is because you're a white American dude and they're curious but i love how welcoming they were.
had me on the edge of my seat. incredible editing / producing
The Indian people seemed so sweet, and the conversations were Depp, keep up the great vlogs!!
India gives still best content for gore www
Thanks!
Depp, as in “Johnny”?
lol to all the zooms over peoples head on the joke..
i love this guy, this is the first video ive seen from him and i will for sure be subscribing and checking out more content, the honesty, humour, and just being a raw genuine and friendly person is awesome. i love it here
The guy who said bring back Trump was very intelligent. I was impressed at how knowledgeable some of these guys were about America
"Dance monkey dance" is crazy
This is the first of your videos I am watching. Love your free-wheeling, free-talking approach and in-the-moment uncensored commentary. So refreshing and engaging. Instant subscribe! Your experience here is EXACTLY what I think so many people expect if they were to go to India. BTW, anyone tell you that you look like the actor Edgar Ramirez?
Fair analysis: proud to be a citizen because if the standard of living in one country may be higher it does not mean the quality of life is too.
i'd rather be stressed than have food poisoning every other week. that's dread.
@@cruxmind fair enough
@@cruxmind Locals do not get food poisoning. They are already exposed to the bacteria and their immunity takes care of it...
@@italogiardina8183
Avoid streets food then
only foreigners get food poisoning lol
It's too chaotic for me lol. I'd have to go back to the hotel to recharge after 1/2 the day! haha=)
Bro I think you really are a true person and one thing to remember there is no absolute perfect place in the world, there are many probs in India that's kind of package good and bad together, and it's everywhere. But really you are a truthful person just need to understand couple of things 😊
They literally have a term called “Delhi Belly” to refer to the diarrhea that people have as a result of eating street food in Delhi.
Love how it feels like one huge family , not like the us , it feels like everyone is against everyone
Their country not that clean but the people really welcoming & friendly especially to tourist.. ok ok not bad except the pollution
It's a developing country and here are many options from roadside stall to luxurious hotel. It depends on money. But he look like an average homeless from usa
Thank you for sharing this experience 🙏🏼
Indian people in general are really nice, polite and kind!!👍
Because they usually think foreigners especially the white man as God. Indians lack the basic sense to differentiate people on the basis of their nature and not the skin color. Also majority of the public are highly fraudulent in nature. You have to be really really careful with everything here otherwise you might lose your life savings even. And the most tragic part is you rarely would receive any help from the police or law enforcement. India is a mess inside out.
they are dirty.
They’re just unsanitary
Just don't be a woman!
Belive me bro Indians bath two times day ... If u go two any Indian house you'll see clininess
my new fav channel. love how you never hesitate to say whatever the fuck you want to say. like you aren't tryna glamorize it or anything. keep it up! much love.
Love your videos keep up the great work!
Every video i watch of Indian people paints them ain an incredible light. Such friendly people
Seems like Indians are super laid back similar to people and life growing up in the 90s. Family unit and community somewhat still intact.
Yup. They’ve destroyed the family unit in the US. It’s apart of a much much bigger plan😢
@@johnnylego807 I understand, trust me, we’ve all been exposed to the flood of information that’s been put out in the past 20years.
“Divided for loves sake, for chance of union.”
They will eventually unite the world 🌍under one banner but first they must shake our foundations and beliefs to the core.
@@johnnylego807 you can feel it in the air. The people of the world are waiting for someone to rise, unite and stir the peoples emotions towards a common goal.
The next step is “Combined Disasters” that will further divide us.
@@johnnylego807 you are literally insane

Awesome video that brings back a lot of memories of the trip I took to India 7 years ago. The chaos and hustle and bustle plus the crazy driving is exactly how I remember it. I did stay at two real nice places and that was a treat but once you stepped outside, the streets were just like these places that you filmed. There were a few scams that I almost fell for but I managed to leave India unscathed and only had one minor stomach issue. The people were really nice and kind I must say. Would I go back again? Nope but I don't regret going at all!
The people here are so welcoming and friendly. It is polluted and congested, yes, but I at least find the company to be really enjoyable. I wish I had more money to travel because I'd love to visit India and other countries.
I feel like I jumped in mid-way. You are such a great personality so far. I wish I knew how you studied languages. Cheers to your journey man, it looks awesome.
I love your commentary. It's so authentic and relatable.
You may want to tone down taking Jesus' name in vain dude...It's not cool and I'm sure you can find a good substitute.
@@teresacollins7763 Don't push your religion on others, please.
@@teresacollins7763 jesus christ ur delusional
the way u shake hands with everybody and then eat with the same hand- you are a very brave man dude , I will give u that!:)
I was born in India and spent the first couple years of my life there (my family is American). I traveled to Nepal for a couple months and every person I went with was throwing up and having diarrhea the whole time but I was chilling. Not so much as a stomach ache. God bless my gut and immune system! Lol
This is such a great look at the social life in Delhi both from the perspective of a tourist and the people there.
I can’t help it but at 9:16 I freakin just love the way that Indian guy said “ please bring back trump” the way he rolls trumps name
