This is great piece of advise. I struggle with digital setup. I find it difficult to review and without a tactical feel, I tend overcommit. This really helps me to re-look at the paper setup guide.

Thank you. This was helpful. I’m in process of setting up my GTD system and I need to see some examples of how others use a paper-based or hybrid system.

Thank you for your video. Here's my system: Capture Tool = Google Keep; Project List + Digital Support and Reference Material = Folders inside Google Drive; Next Action List = Google Tasks. Also, there's Gmail and Google Calendar. Everything is integrated, which is the reason I like to use Google Apps.

Love discbound notebooks, so that was very exciting to see.

Thanks, Janet! This was exactly what I needed. Like others, I`m a big GTD fan. But every now and then I fall off the horse, especially when responsibilities change. Presently I`m struggling with an Evernote implementation I used to have years ago and don`t feel well using this. I`m thinking about an analogue approach (since I`m parallel starting to like writing by hand more - especially using a fountain pen). I`ll give this hybrid approach You described a try.

Good luck moving forward with your hybrid approach! 😊

    Janet!
    Great coach of GTD.
I have a similar setup with multiple calendars coming into "one" trusted view.
Same thing for email - multiple accounts coming in to one "trusted" application/view for email. The 2 minute rule works great for processing emails (typically in bed, with phone above my head - LOL!) that can be easily sifted through. I remember DA doing this on his mobile devices as well. For a while, I've used Gmail, and have a personal rule that if I've being routinely deleting emails, then I create a filter rule and have them auto-filtered into folders (Marked as Read, Archive, save to folder ). For example, next time I'm considering going to a Big Box Store, I check my "Coupons" folder and look back a week for all the great deals that have been going automatically into my folder that I didn't have to be thinking about daily.
3:53 - Waiting For - 2/2010 - Paul - get back me to about updating Word 7.0 on my laptop
