Robbie - I try hard to be 'super real'. Its the only way I know how to be. If you do a review on a weekly basis they won't seem so long. I find that if I skip a week or two the process becomes very long as there is so much to review. Hope that helps. Please subscribe for more. Dave www.DaveEdwardsMedia.com
My "someday" list is pretty good. HOWEVER.....every 3 months i go for a walk..a physical WALK with it...and winnow it out. Waht was important YESTERDAY may be inconsequential TODAY.
There's lots of really good advice in this video. As a perpetual procrastinator, I've found having a hard copy list is a dual edged sword for me. It either keeps me focused or buries me in anxiety. I feel the tasks separation by priority might help. Thank you Dave. It's groovy to see you in a video brother. :) safe journey
I just print out today’s tasks and have that on my desk in the morning, as I do each task I physically cross it off the list….. works great for me to stop procrastinating. If I am finding it hard to concentrate that day, I assign times to the tasks to make me focus … ie 8am email 9am book transport, 10.15 email out schedule……. I make sure the times are tight so I really have to concentrate to get it done……… and I know I can only go crazy on a list for about 4 hours…… so I schedule meetings or site visits etc for the afternoon because I know I can’t sit at a desk that long
Also I have a rule for myself that if I finish TODAYS list I don’t move on to other tasks, I just finish for the day and go and do something fun……. It’s very motivating to know once it’s done I can stop!
You don't have to worry about forgetting the things you put on your someday/maybe list if you routinely do a review. This way you don't have to worry about forgetting what you put on that list.
So helpful! Thank you both.

Dave Edwards is super real. Sometimes the Review process is so overwhelming & takes so long, that I just walk away from it.

Carl - I like the idea of a walk and review. Totally agree that our lists need periodic review.

Part of the Dutch use a hard "g", the other part a soft one.
