HPDE MIATA CRASH DURING EMRA @ LIME ROCK 10/16/2021 SESSION 3

Uphill at Lime Rock is a really hard section. If your wheels are not perfectly straight before you get to the top of the hill, you will dart in the direction off course. I was behind a Miata who turned slightly as she hit the crest and had no chance to recover. Luckily, she's ok. EMRA @ LIME ROCK 10/16/2021 SESSION 3 MIATA CRASH

I'm glad to see them still running the uphill, from the videos I'd seen it had appeared the chicane had taken over.

Just Hands Foundation… Sounds like Adaptive skiing in snow sports. It is amazing what can be done with technology and training. Hope your foundation is successful.
As for the Up Hill at LRP, this video’s description is spot on. Steering needs to be perfectly straight when cresting the top of the hill. Even a “lowly” Miata can be going fast enough to make the car slightly airborne. 9 times out of 10 a crash like this is a result of having some amount of steering input to the right when the car comes down first on the front tires. It will pitch the car just like as seen in this video. Hence the tire bundles being where they are. Glad she wasn’t hurt.
