What is William Regal’s best on screen moment? let us know in the comments below!
There is no doubt Hulk Hogan had one of greatest comeback stories in professional wrestling history. Passing of the torch classics from The Rock, HHH, Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Jericho and Brock Lesnar. Solidify his status as living legend.
Anytime Regal yells,"WAR GAMES!"
King of the ring
Taking Bobby Eaton to Hollywood.
edge pissing in his cup and the cryme time skit omg he's hilarious
How to succeed in WWE: "Step forward with your left foot!"
good reference 😂
I SAID YOUR LEFT FOOT!
I could listen to this man talk for hours he is Incredible.
That promo on HHH over Eugene was amazing.
But he has soo many good stories too. His rivalry while travelling with Tajiri.
Listening to Haystacka and Big Daddy talking about eating all the desert at last nights dinner with the missus as he laced boots in a corner.
Little things with Regal are great. If your lucky enough to have some time with him, its certainly time well spent.
Truly a gentleman.
My favorite ever
I think Regal is the biggest reason we have so much UK/Ireland talent in WWE today
lol. ok 🤡
Never heard of the dynamite kid and the brittish bulldog
@@camau79 wwf video games with regal compared to games with the bulldog on it..
Could listen to William Regal retell these stories all day long, what a legend.
There's a reason why so many people revere this man. He's the consumate professional, and makes no bones about it.
'cept for that time he shitstomed Goldberg.
Know this guy since the old CWA Days here in Germany. Love him and i am happy he is still around. I also know Dave Taylor from that Time. The English guys were very well known here in Germany. William Regal is a Legend
When they do a WrestleMania in London, that’s when they should induct William Regal in the HOF, probably WM 43 in 2027
It's a crime he's not already in. If I hadn't read your comment I would have guessed he was already inducted
Does anyone doubt that Regal inducted into the HOF at Wembley at a theoretical WM in London would ever draw less then 50 maniacs at Wembley? I don't.
That promo against Hogan had me cracking up. "Poncing about like a 50 pence Tart" is one of the best lines in a promo ever.
Regal could give an acting seminar. His knowledge is ridiculous. If I was in WWE or AEW & he was there, I'd be bothering him constantly for advice.
Regal is such a good talker
I love Regal. 40 years that guy wrestled. I can't help but wonder what career hed have had if not for his issues.
Maybe it's just me, but I think he had a huge amount of skill in the ring and on the mic... he's a legend. I'm British though, I may be biased. 🤪
Oh believe me you’re 100% right.
God bless Sir Regal 🙏🏻
I hated him as a kid. As I got older I watched him more, and listened to him speak and by god he’s so clever and articulate. Some fella him.
I could listen to Regal all day. An honest man, a learned man. Not perfect, but 'real'. I respect it.
Absolutely LOVE and adore this man's body of work. His in-ring genius to this day is all but matched. ❤
I love listening to William Regal, he should do a podcast. Favourite moments of Regal was backstage with Tajiri, comedy gold..
Didn't he have a podcast during his AEW run?
@@HopSkipLimp yeah called Gentleman Villain, not sure if the episodes are still available but he's always worth listening to!
@@HopSkipLimp I knew he did an interview on AEW unrestricted but I never knew he had a podcast
@@NEILAMALONEI listened to every episode. Was really disappointed when the episodes ended.
“You’re a wise man, Tajiri.” - Stone Cold Steve Austin
Regal knows the art of story.
Legend that is William regal
Regal owns the legacy of showing the world what it looks like when a guy who can really wrestle and work (himself) faces a guy who can't wrestle or work (Bill Goldberg). Bill Goldberg was the presentation. So was Hulk Hogan.
Regal is one of the greatest of all time!
William Real is one of the only few wrestlers that if I see he’s on a video, I will literally stop everything. I’m doing just to watch! He is a brilliant storyteller!
WILLIAM REGAL SO AWESOME ON THE INSIDE THE ROPES !!!
An Evening with Arn Anderson and William. Now that's a show I didn't know I wanted to see. The stories they could both tell!
LEGENDARY "KISS MY ASS CLUB MEMBER" OF all KISS MY ASS CLUBS
I loved how William could stretch a young bull like myself like the young man annoyed a proper beast i want to see Regal on Dan and Don's podcast
Regal was a great professional wrestler, he could Sell with the best of em and was a Technician in the Ring..
The first moment that pops into my mind is when he was feuding with Sting in the mid 90s it was a interview in a office setting and at the end he backhanded Sting in the face so hard I jumped from the sound it made when he hit his face
Needless to say, easy prey for the "Vince McMahon Kiss My Ass Club".
Whatta Pro!
I love Regal's approach.
He knows alllllll their secrets!
Superb, Mick Miller is a legend
I don't think I ever seen William Regal cut a promo in WCW. I seen a lot of the ones he did in WWE and they were really good.
I loved the Dave Taylor stories in Glasgow! hilarious!!
I think I missed something, did his wife leave him before Christmas and take his money?
Legend!!!!!!!
Great story 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Regal knows how to spin some yarn. Great story teller.
Just like Mankind winning his first world title, I wonder how many viewers immediately "changed the channel" to go check out the Dave Taylor / Hulk Hogan spot? 😂
My son and I saw him in the Orlando airport last month. A lot bigger than he looks on TV. He was wearing the 3 piece suit too.
His comic timing is superb.
Edit: in real life he’s big fan of Peter Kay and Dave Spikey (Northern English stand-up comedians), and loved The Royle Family.
Phoenix Nights was bloody hilarious 😂😂😂😂
@@gregc7699I just watched both seasons yesterday. Had me cracking up. When Max & Paddy make a prank call & he says "I know who you are. Who are ya?" absolutely killed me
The people in NXT are in good hands
Mr. Regal is imo on of the greatest wrestler in and out of the ring. I have like 5 wrestlers I want meet in real life. He is #2
Mick Miller is hilarious. His stuff still holds up today
Haha drunk Noddy on the radio is a fantastic bit.
I always loved Mike Reid, his comic timing was second to none
Why don't they release the whole interview?
Probbaly behind a paywall and rightly so.
Regals too good a talker to not captilise on it.
@@chip.chippa6416 what paywall?
I would pay if there was a link or a Video on demand link
If he’s this inebriated at the start then imagine how fucked he is by the end
Born in the late 90s growing up into the Attitude Era. I was never familiar with Hulk Hogan as the main attraction during WWF 80s peak through his first run until departure in 93. After 9 years away after tenure and close of WCW he would return to WWE in one of the greatest comeback stories of all time. Anticipating the return of NWO at No Way Out on the Road to WrestleMania X8. Unforgettable match against The Rock winning back the hearts of millions of fans. Captured and becoming a 5X and final WWF champion before company name change. Teaming with Edge to capture the World Tag Team Championships. Passing of the torch to many iconic wrestler to legends. From The Rock, HHH, Undertaker, Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar. Where his status and legend would continue to grow higher and more unforgettable into one of the greatest comeback stories in professional wrestling history.
Is this AI written?

REGAL the 1st ever member of the VINCE MCMAHON "KISS MY ASS CLUB!!!!!!" & IC CHAMPION IN 2002,
What a Career!!!!!!!!!
Welp, I'ma look uo Mick Miller now! LoL 😂😂😂
2:23:04 on the network ur gonna laugh ur ass off jajaja
Makes a story 3x longer than necessary about how to not go over time
I luv this guy dnt ever Bismurg him.
Darts is pretty much like wrestling.
Never realised he was such a proper northerner!
He's from Walsall Wood close to Wolverhampton.
Have a catchy theme song….ez
Which doctor did you go?
What the f happened at dave taylor's house? Wrestlers can't tell stories for shite.
Beniot
hes a bit tipsy lol
And then we tied an onion to our belts which was the style at the time...
Kissing ass and having friends in the right places helps a lot. Regal knows about that
You must love TK 🤡
@@joesant1943 Don't know what that is, but I love the British wrestling scene and want it to succeed
A lot of rambling. But a nice guy
So did this Dave Taylor guy get screwed over by some builders?
If you want to know how to never be WWE champion Regal is your man.
Jeez 😴😴
He’s off his face
Put the beer down.
Things he did: this in one take, completely off the cuff
Things he didn't: get to the point
Bros going on too many tangents
He waffles on a lot but gets away with it because he’s still got a northern accent.
He can talk about whatever he likes.
You just have to get over with the audience. And the WWE audience is like the old ECW audience -- they care more about taking over the show than letting the performers be in control. If you just do something memey like Fandango's entrance music or Daniel Bryan's "Yes" chant or Stone Cold's "What" chant and let the audience do their part to take over and ruin the show; you'll be a fan favorite. And of course, do things to make them chant "Holy sh*t."
How To Be Successful In WWE... be a decent wrestler and kiss a lot of asses.
William Regal shits and all you’re favorites just entering the ring…
If only he had followed his own advice
The boss dropped his pants tv and he kissed his a#$. That happened publicly, what went on privately that's another story. I loss all respect for Regal.
Thanks for that zircon of wisdom, boy.
He's hard to listen to
Very
Try unblocking your ears.
Spot the difference.
William regal is trash he purposely didnt sell or used certain moved that deviated from the
script/plan. Its all my and i with him
Spot the Goldberg fan.
Should we really listen to the advice of a jobber who never drew a dime?
I think so yes, he started from the very bottom in places like blackpool n ended up at the top n famous worldwide, a real underdog story, if he could make it from such a humble start so can any aspiring wrestler imo.
@@petersmith5915 No dimes drawn
Ask International wrestling legend and William Regal protege Bryan Danielson whether you should listen......
@@drpeppaerdrpeppaer5434 regal was never a main event star
Yes.
When he dies, he’ll have forgotten more than you will ever know.
I’m glad to finally hear somebody address WCW’s three ring World War 3 concept. I always thought it was bloody awful.
I hate how this channel used to be entertaining but now they just clickbait articles about obscure people a decade ago and mislead people into thinking its something actually worth reading. It's sad asf.
Regal talks much, but he was a midcarder at best. Nice character in WCW as heel and british "upper class royal".
But that was it. But Regal can talk about himself pretty good.
Um...you should educate yourself a little and listen to how other wrestlers talk about him.
@@HarkAt-kk7op That doesnt mean anything. Sure he was a good guy. But this is as a wrestler. He was a midcarder at best, and the only thing funny was his heelish royal upper class characte sometimes. Walking around and feeling disgusted by opponents.
@@krillep546 you're equating his level of success (midcarder) with his actual wrestling ability and knowledge which is why I tried to point out go and listen to how your favorite wrestlers talk about him. I'm not calling him a nice guy, I'm saying he's an encyclopedia of wrestling.
He wasn't the most "exciting" wrestler but his background and knowledge was all extremely legit. Kind of like not every sports coach was the "best" player or even played at all but when they speak... You listen.
@@timian210 Regal is not my god, sorry bro..
How would he know?? He was never a star. He never drew money. Same as Al Snow, wtf does he know about drawing money?
Dudes a mid carder.
Get to the point dude
Wait a second…. this guy grew up in Blackpool and didn’t watch Football? Lol He must be the only one.
He grew up near Telford.
