Beard looks good. Blood blister under fingernail tells me to be careful when working around you. Lol. I have a scar in the top of my head after my bro-in-law absent mindedly slammed the Jeep hatch door while I was picking a tool up off the ground. Good video!

You’re not wrong! I seem to smash a fingernail on every project I work on. The rack definitely pinched me once or twice during the install.

@@BoutenkoFilms That's why I'm hyper observant of injuries and what kind after 26 stitches in my scalp. I have a scar in my right thigh from an embedded 3 inch pine board splinter from a truss factory. The old doctor with Mr. McGoo glasses couldn't find the end of it, so he cut a small "X" in my thigh with a scalpel searching to no avail. I put old school Prid Salve on it and the end protruded in a couple days for me to grab with small pliers and extract the gooey spear and bandaged the little crater. Speaking of silly self-inflictedness, I got drunk before military basic training and burned blisters on the bottom of my bare feet after running unsober on hot pavement. I got to wear those blisters as I ran through basic, even more so after I made fun of my drill sargeant. I go slower now and rarely drink alcohol.

Great video...looking at a black alurack...I was told by local distributor that you couldn't open the rear door with the ladder on, so I ordered an aluminuss side mount ladder...I'm still happy though after hearing that the sliding side door can hit ladder if rear door all the way open/attached to magnet.
Question: Any tips on installing roof rails onto a passenger sprinter 2500 144 low roof? Worried about the curtain airbags up front and getting ceiling panels removed/reinstalled so I can access to through-bolt.
Also, are the prime design rails better than vantec? I heard something about the various numbers of attachment bolt options between those choices and looking for the strongest option. Guess you could always drill the rails out to catch as many factory openings as possible.
