I love seeing the captain run to the pump and prep his firefighters hose while they mask up. As well as how he also masks up grabs a tool and joins his firefighters. Nothing better than a captain that leads from the front and isn’t afraid of getting dirty with his firefighters unlike most captains that grab a radio and stand back watching the show.
This is quite often what transient RV parking looks like. Not used to seeing it on a main thoroughfare like this though; here they're usually in industrial areas.
I was clenching a little bit at the start of the video... the filming was a lot closer than I like to be when a gas tank is venting like that, just in case it goes.
@@dirkdiggler2507 It's not uncommon for compressed gas tanks (propane, LPG, etc.) to explode during fires, or at least to blow their pressure relief valves. That creates shrapnel, and that can cause injury or death. It's not generally considered wise to be in close proximity to an exploding gas tank.
1:57 thats an odd color yellow. It almost is elemental sodium yellow, but theres nothing in an RV that would be elemental sodium, so im going to assume its probably a wood product combusting at a low enough temperature that the soot is glowing
My respect! Attack first the fire near to wall for fire control! But 2 line is necessary for quick response and fire control.Remember Prevention Health and Safety First! PPE is mandatory! SCBA always smoke is toxic! God Bless LAFD!
I wondering why firefighter set up one jet just to fight the RV fire.. why isn't it two jet or simply say two lines of hose to tackle the fire and it is fast to contain the fire..

I've wondered why you don't usually see this. It is an emergency, after all.
LAFD, the Best FD in the country. They are trained to treat EVERY fire as fast as they can. Fast in scene and fast with knock down. Good work!!
People who make fun of some one for being homeless remember that you can become homeless at anytime through no fault of your own.
couldn't have said it better 👏🏾
Just one paycheck away unfortunately
@@FB1ResponseVideos I was homeless also
I’ve NEVER made fun of the homeless because I know that being homeless is NOT funny!
I wanted to see Dave Chappelle come out of the RV parked behind the one on fire.
😂
Another great onscene video, as usual! I just got an onscene vid too, of PHX Engine 20 extinguishing a vehicle fire.
Awesome footage man! And another great job by LAFD! Stay safe bro!
thanks man! 'preciate it 👍🏾
@@FB1ResponseVideos wasn't your Dad a firefighter

That one fireman with the axe, no SCBA
Amazing Catch 🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🎃
That loud faring sound sounds like one of those newer propane tanks with the built in over pressure self flaring valves
I bet farts like that feel so relieving
I was thinking it was a sick T-Rex. 😆😆😆😆
Where's the 2nd handline since the engine is drawing water from the hydrant
Your mums house
Great Footage and Coverage!👍
I love the close ups
Dammit Jesse Pinkman ! I told you not to cook in the city !
😂
Great catch. Too bad someone lost their home.
That sounds in the beginning was creepy, good job guys 👍
Pressure relief valve on the propane tank ( more it vents , less chance of boom , for a while )
Good hustle, LAFD.
Extra kudos to FF Buestos; that dude is a dervish.
Thank you very good
I sure hope nobody was SLEEPING in that thing when it went up!!!!!
One more casualty in L.A.'s large homeless population. All they had, now gone up in flames. I hope the motor home behind this one, survived.
With the amount of debris spread around the RV, it looks as though it exploded.

The sound of that horn made my heart actually sink. I don’t know how but it made me depressed now.
Depression in fire truck horns is a growing problem. Andy England 🇬🇧👍
@@andrewdaley3081 no not the fire truck, the burning RV
At first I thought it was the AO priming the pump
Excellent footage!
thanks bro!
Nice catch!
Why is everything the straight hard stream. Most of the water shoots right through it.
I kinda like the Phenix first due helmets for now I have a 1010
I thought all departments around the country made it mandatory be on air when operating in the hot zone?

Goes where

Looks like someone is trying to drive homeless people away from their street.
God bless him/her
Curse them for threatening hard working paying tenants in the nearby apartment building.
It would be nice to add another hose to this. One hose cant do the job.
Guess foam and new chemicals out are not used. Gimmy more water!
Who cleans up the wreckage afterwards?
street services
It is fully possible that electrical shorts caused by rodents chewing up wiring caused this fire
Or just an electrical short. Or the propane fridge. Or someone cooking.
Hey where that at
Were was that at
We may need a new hooter.
I hope it wasn't deliberty set. Still sad to see someones home was destroyed.
Just call insurance,oh thats right dont have any
Transient RV shouldn't have even been there in the first place. It was just a matter of time until it caught fire. Pathetic the city allows this.
Nope, privately owned RV listed for sale. Nice jump to an unjustified conclusion, though.
Er, nope. Transient motorhome. Most of those mopes have a “for sale” sign on the thing so they can sell the POS and buy some meth.
why use a full force on the hose.how about using a cone shape get more
fire and not spreading debris everywhere . sorry for the owners
More pressure= more water on fire.
can i assume homeless? Its california
Why is there a fireman up in there without scuba and gloves. Who is your safety officer.
My guess is that since he isn't going DIVING he doesn't need his SCUBA gear.🤣
Bad fires rv sadness
RV just farted
Pathetic. The fire just went out. You need to check your Kerosene pressure.
He's looking for any flammable spots

Should have stood back and waited for the second motorhome to catch fire, too.
Not everybody who is homeless, deserves your contempt. There but for the grace of God, go we all.
