      Pull up to the fire. Tank to pump and deck gun it with the water carried on the pump while the next pump in lays a line from the plug.

      Engineer had a supply coming, should have utilized the wagon battery a lot sooner. Managing his tank water before hand lines were open. Captain on wagon battery, firefighter on hydrant, other firefighter on hand line and engineer at panel. Additional companies are arriving. Exposers are a concern as well as power lines.

    It is baffling how long it takes to get a decent stream of water on a fire in these major metro areas. These fire departments have BILLIONS of dollars of equipment, lots of trained personnel and they roll up to fires and it's like watching the three stooges most of the time. Mass confusion. Not sure I've seen one of these videos where it appears a highly oiled machine is working. For those in the know, go ahead and blast away. Educate me on the ins and outs of fire fighting. Spent some time living in a Transit Van and for those asking how they both caught fire....my guess is they were sharing 1 or more extension cords and that spread from 1 the other. I've seen quite a few people's homes(rv's) go up like this and it's said. Usually from a faulty heater or wiring that's old. They burn so fast that even if FD gets on scene within 2 mins the RV is gone

The roofs and sides of R V’s were down to near chassis by time F D showed up. Did they come from San Diego? never understood why our fire engines here in the uk dont have the deck guns on them but then again here we have the high pressure reels that take seconds to reel out and get water on the fire

    • @scotts7137
      @scotts7137 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I never understood why we don't have hose reels on our rigs here where you could get some water on a fire in seconds while the rest of the guys wait until the place is burned to the ground before they get water on it. If you watch enough US fire videos, you'll see time and again a small fire that could be attacked upon arrival if they were so equipped that could be greatly mitigated while the hoses get up and running. It's infuriating. That deck gun was a great help in this case.

    Are those civilians/bystanders helping to move the hose when E25 arrives? If so, kudos to them for stepping up instead of just standing there rubbernecking as people would have in many other places.

      I'd guess water. Had it been fuel, even if it were diesel, vapors would have probably flashed up long before then, and we see there's no fire in that immediate vicinity.

I know about pull behinds and Rvs. Thank you for puttin out the fires and Praise God, Blessings no injured or death this day in fires?
