Great videos but xp are not actually converting your just buying a ws6 master without the stem and the price reflects that’.. I actually like the concept but your not converting your just selling a ws6 master without the stem and the price reflects that. ..I’ll stick to the one with the hf coil.. the wife will stick to the orx… we are still finding on land every single week! It seems to me that Deus are concerned about Deus 2 sales hence the push to convert Deus 1 and orx users (who are more than happy with what they have) and I think Deus know this personally.. as a bit of advice.. the easiest way to get d1 users over to the 2 is to create a program much like hot which sits on a single frequency.. I appreciate you have the facility to do this as you say in your video it has the power to and I appreciate that it can prob be set up but I’ve spoken to loads of really experienced users that havent managed to replicate.. in fact even Gary hasn’t from what I understand.. do that and you won’t need to market a conversion kit because you’ll have a bunch of users that can have the safety blanket of hit mode with the option to go multi if they want..
Please,could you ask for an upgrade that would allow us to use our x35 elliptical coil with the deus 2.The tekkna program would be a beast on iron loaded sites with this coil.You could exclude the dive program to protect your liabilities.I have a $600 coil I can’t use to it’s full capabilities at the moment,would love see what it’s truly capable of,married to the deus 2!!!
It can be argued that you wouldn't need this because you already have a full Deus 2. The only thing that I could see is if you want a second Deus 2 as a backup but you said that you like the simplicity of the ORX for the backup. Thank you for your support!
A backup without having to switch to a complete different detector is useful, you could limit the luggage to the headset with stem fix in case the RC fails or your normal headset has no more power or a second coil in case you run out of juice during an extended detection session.
They should make it have more than 5 Years of support. Specially since you can upgrade the other non Deus II devices. Because I'd love to have a Deus II but can't afford it right now so I was going to settle with one of their other devices but I'm not liking that it's only got 5 years of support. Does that mean that it'll be junk then?

I have 2 D2s, a D1 and an ORX. Waiting for an upgrade for the D2. The D2 is absolutely killer on the salt water beach. I won’t swing anything else. I’ve tried and been very disappointed. Nothing even close to it.

It is available in Canada and I am sorry if you feel underwhelmed. The brain is in the coil and its not something that firmware could adjust and fix. A new coil that could handle fast multi frequency would be needed. But the price is at a huge discount. Remember XP detectors could be purchased part by part. Many purchase in that fashion so that they can only get the parts they need with no additional costs.

To say the mono section of the D2 has encapsulated all of the characteristics of the D1 is fiction I nearly said a lie then😮 and didn't come from Xp when they say the exact same parameters that I and many thousands of D1 users get when using the hot full tone setting can be duplicated on the D2 I would start using the D2 as my primary detector . When I bought my D2 two years ago it came with the full monty WS6 master and back phones which were way to heavy and sat unbalanced on your head the puc is heavy and unnecessary later of course you got a option I sold the WS6 master and bought the WSA11 head phones . If you go for this lite set up which is on offer now don't think it's general all over the world ,, to my mind it's not good advice the best aspect of the D2 is it's IP68 water proof and diving aspect your better off saving your pennies and buying the controller,forget the lesser master it not necessary if you buy this lite setup as encouraged here youl always be wanting the controller which is the best lite option IMO.
To satisfy your're customers you have to bring out something new, not something that's already on the market, it sounds like XP underestimate there customers, at this moment Minelab does a better job(my personal uppinion)
I respectfully think its the opposite regarding XP. Why flood the market with rebranded "shiny new toys" that do the same thing with little variation from its predecessor? When a new XP product comes out you can trust that there is something markedly different about it. On top of that, XP expands upon a products value over many years with updates and innovations. The whole point of this promotion is that there are people who have owned the Deus 1 for more than 10 years and don't want to put it down! There is a whole new universe within the Deus 2. It can dive to 66 ft. It can connect with the Xtrem Hunter to find larger objects up to 16 feet deep! Fast Multi Frequency. It can connect to the GoTerrain App and you can trace your steps and take data on where great targets lie (manually or automatically synced with the detector). Take it from a guy who bought 23 metal detectors in his lifetime. When XP puts something out, it is markedly different and it will continue to evolve.

This idea is goofy. It isn't really a special price when you factor in the cost of a used stem is less than $100. Plus, it makes the D1 coil, controler and phones landfill without a stem...I would have preferred a trade in program, but knocking $100 off the current MAP for a WS6 master is no deal since I can't resell my D1. Absolutely! The ORX has never had a proper update. Would be nice to get a few extra features. A relic mode would be cool and a enhanced gold mode for extra depth 😊

There (nothing) that duplicatesthe D1 Hot settings on the D2, EVEN IN THE MONO SECTION. D2 Does not hold a candle to the D1 on land ive been taking the sw4 puc which I swop for the wsa11 puc and then swop the FMFnine inch coil for the nine inch X35 did this for sixteen months ,there are occasions where the D2 is better ie diving IP68 rated other wise id you dont wade or dive there isnt enough advantage to warrant the extra expense or the loss of performance inland .Some one show me a genuine comparison using the D2 Version of the hot program against the D1 hot program that compares I will start using the D2 as my primary detector as opposed to the D1.
Peter, you are clearly a passionate user and we thank you! I can promise you that every parameter/option that is in the Deus 1 is incorporated in to the Deus 2. I don't think i'm going to convince you of that, because you seemed to have already formed a strong opinion but please understand how much testing goes in to XP products. The Deus 2 is indeed an evolution beyond the Deus 1. As I see it, it gives you less margin for error, harnesses more power, is dive capable to 66 ft. connects to the Xtrem Hunter and is FMF. You might have given us a great future video topic. Were glad you love the Deus 1. But did you give the Deus 2 a fair shot? This package is meant to give passionate D1 users a Deus 2 at the lowest price we ever offered.
Your intitled to your opinion, but I've had Xp detectors since The goldMax Power then changed to the D1 in 2009 bought the D2 just under two years ago ,and I can categorically say that contary to what's been said the Deus 1 is not incorporated in the D2 I've no confidence in the D2.

XP D2 needs a small coil (smaller than the 9"). A nice 5 x 7 would be the cats meow for the D2. It would just add to the D2's value and versatility.

I would have wished an inherent compatibility mode between the Deus 2 RC and the Deus 1 coils and wireless headsets.

That is correct about the Deus 1. Deus 2 remote is fully waterproof up to more than 60 feet.

The Deus 2 needs an hf coil to detect gold, then I will immediately sell my Deus 1 and buy a Deus 2. 45 kHz is too low for detecting small jewelry.

D2 Does not hold a candle to the D1 on land ive been taking the sw4 puc which I swop for the wsa11 puc and then swop the FMFnine inch coil for the nine inch X35 did this for sixteen months ,there are occasions where the D2 is better ie diving IP68 rated other wise id you dont wade or dive there isnt enough advantage to warrant the extra expense or the loss of performance inland .Some one show me a genuine comparison using the D2 Version of the hot program against the D1 hot program that compares I will start using the D2 as my primary detector as opposed to the D1.
Peter, you are clearly a passionate user and we thank you! I can promise you that every parameter/option that is in the Deus 1 is incorporated in to the Deus 2. I don't think i'm going to convince you of that, because you seemed to have already formed a strong opinion but please understand how much testing goes in to XP products. The Deus 2 is indeed an evolution beyond the Deus 1. As I see it, it gives you less margin for error, harnesses more power, is dive capable to 66 ft. connects to the Xtrem Hunter and is FMF. You might have given us a great future video topic. Were glad you love the Deus 1. But did you give the Deus 2 a fair shot? This package is meant to give passionate D1 users a Deus 2 at the lowest price we ever offered.
Your intitled to your opinion, but I've had Xp detectors since The goldMax Power then changed to the D1 in 2009 bought the D2 just under two years ago ,and I can categorically say that contary to what's been said the Deus 1 is not incorporated in the D2 I've no confidence in the D2.

Mi opinion es, despues de Deus 1 y ORX ES IMPOSIBLE HACER UN DETECTOR MAS POTENTE, A NO SER QUE TENGAS UNA BATERIA DE AUTO ENGANCHADA AL DETECTOR . (LAS BATERIAS ACTUALES NO PERMITEN QUE NINGUN DETECTOR ACTUAL DE GAMA MEDIA ALTA SAQUE MAS POTENCIA QUE LA YA ADQUIRIDA) NO OS LIEIS LA CABEZA, NO HAY MILAGROS.
