I always buy my phones unlocked from 3rd party sellers, and I have used some experia phones in the past, not bad, some nice features, they need more brand presence and people need to stop buying phones laden with uninstallable bloatware from their carriers.
I bought the first ROG phone and After less than a year the air triggers totally stopped working, phones battery had expanded for no apparent reason and any lightest drop would completely destroy the screen. DO NOT BUY ANY GAMING PHONE! They age like milk, there are no cases for them and barely any repair store will have the right parts. Doesnt matter how good it is, DO NOT BUY A GAMING PHONE.

The fan in the back is a must if you're a mobile game streamer. Most people don't understand that Airplay / Miracast / Google cast for an extensive period of time the machine gets very very hot. You need sustain cooling. So the cooler in the back is a must for any gaming phone. Dave I know you're not really a mobile gamer or streamer but you know there's even water cooling for mobile phones, right? I'm saying this because you said: "Most people will just game without it" It's so not true. Even if you don't stream if you play with max settings for long hours it still runs quite hot and it's never good for the battery. Heat is just not good in any scenario.

I'm saying this because you said: "Most people will just game without it" It's so not true. Even if you don't stream if you play with max settings for long hours it still runs quite hot and it's never good for the battery. Heat is just not good in any scenario.
