Does it support standard powerbi visual feautures like cross filtering when selecting a data point or toolitp?

Is it possible to take users input on any report's graph or data from this visual like we can do using the powerapps visual in power bi? Also storing those comments like we can do taking comments on Microsoft forms.

Hi Rajarshi. Unknown (as I'm just getting started with Vega-Lite), but I'd guess not as it is a grammar for interactive visualizations. I'd look to others who are more familiar with Vega-Lite for more information.

@@gregphilpsful I would like to get an answer for this, as powerapps has certain security constraints in my organization and currently I'm using Microsoft forms to take user's comments and then storing it in a database using power bi itself. The only issue is, forms is activated via a button click and it directs on a webpage rather than staying on the report which is why a visual is required.

No - this isn't a use case for the Vega languages. If you need this functionality, you would need to develop a specific custom visual to do it.
Other considerations are that such functionality would require communications with remote endpoints and custom logic to mange transactions to and from said endpoints, which is not permitted if certifying a custom visual (Deneb is currently pending certification). PowerApps is a core visual and not subject to these restrictions.
