    Having blundered through my first deneb visual, this video is very useful. Its so well pitched, because the documentation is aimed at people with some idea of the concepts, and "learning by doing" is the best way to get going. Many thanks.

    Great introduction - I was able to add borders to the columns in a bar chart in Power BI. I can't tell you how frustrated I have been that that's not possible in Power BI, and how happy I am that I've now done it

    Weird one for you - it might be do able and just my first attempt went haywire but thought I'd ask here as it came to mind as I was watching this (around 19:42 in):
    Does Deneb allow you to use field parameters in the metrics?
    e.g. I want my field parameter selection 1 to control the height of the bar, and my field parameter selection 2 to control the thickness of the bar? (two separate sliders and field parameters)
    I attempted it earlier but it didn't seem to work so wasn't sure if there was something special to it
    Thanks in advance!

    Have spent the last 2 weeks diving into Deneb and Vega-Lite. The one thing I'm not able to find any documentation on is whether you can do 1) drill downs and 2) categorize data with multiple fields such as Country/City or Year/Month. Does anyone know if this is possible?

    Is the Charts in Deneb scrolable?

    • @PowerBIFerryTales
      @PowerBIFerryTales  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, they can be. It depends on how you specify the height/width. So basically, they can be scrollable if you want them to be.

    This is great stuff! I'm trying to do a Year Over Year comparison by month and year for Cost, I want to do something similar to what can be done in Tableau that you can have one bar chat for each month. I'm trying to use the repeat command but my Months are in a column and it doesnt seem to work. Do you know a way I can do this??
