- Sit down with me for a chat about how I package and ship my rugs and the products & tools I use to do so. Shipping has been a challenging and intimidating part of selling my rugs. I'm sharing everything I've learned so far, but I'm in no way an expert on this! Take what you will from it 😌 I hope it can serve as a starting point for those who were intimidated like I was.

Could you please make an updated backing and finishing video? It looks like you’ve improved upon your previous methods
Thank you so much for this video! It is so hard to find info on how to do this, and every tufter is also still figuring out what works best for them! And yes please make a video about shipping big rugs! I have made a couple of bigger rugs, but i have gotten away with being able to do meetups, but that’s not always ideal or possible. And i figure if i can just find a big enough box to ship it in, i’ll do that. But then shipping prices are soo intimidating

Are you using a new backing for the commission rugs? If so what do you use? And would you recommend the homedepot rug pad still?
I change up my backing, but I ran out of rug pads and just haven't bought them since. So I've been using cloth backing instead. I can make an updated backing video soon!
What size box do you order from uline?
What printer and lable printer do you have?
can u use roberts 3095 for big rugs too because thats the only one i can find the other one you suggested isnt available on amazon
What are the deminsions of that particular shipping box?

Where can I find that exact black lining on the backing? I’m struggling to find the correct material
I have a few friends that work in shopping centers and I can confidently say they don not care about your packages lol. So I'm always nervous sending packages and try to make them as tough as possible.

With! I weigh it once its all wrapped up
Have you found a non toxic adhesive for backing?
Still looking :/ The adhesives I use (Roberts and AAT 1132) off gas eventually, so I've just gotten more careful about wearing a respirator and keeping my space ventilated until they dry
