Yes, my cooler just plugs into the wall outlet of the truck. It runs off of the truck battery and uses very little energy. It has worked flawlessly since I bought it three years ago. I would advise you to take your time and learn proper load securement. Always ask for help if you're unsure what to do. Drivers winging it goes badly all of the time.

@@EruditeTrucker also do y’all have lightweight tarps? I’m 22 and very capable I’ve just heard different people talk about how much nicer they are.
The tarps are approximately 80 - 100lbs.

Will you get additional time off for staying out longer?
I've heard of drivers being out for a while and getting more off time. You would have to run that by the operations manager.
