    Now when you ran the wiring could you leave it connected to the plug in for the cigarette lighter? Bought this kit and all info helps on what I should do for wiring

    • @LowLifeMods
      @LowLifeMods  2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      You can. What I did was just cut the end off of the cigarette lighter plug. And ran the positive to an inline fuse to a switch, then to the battery. Negative straight to ground. It's DC light box, not AC, so you can go straight to your batter with no need for an inverter

      @@LowLifeMods that would make sense I just want it to turn off and on with the car so leave it like that pretty much was the front piece hard to take off the overhead light etc mines a sedan so I’d hope be easy to get out

    • @LowLifeMods
      @LowLifeMods  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lanehurt5812 oh okay, so in your case you will want to probably get a fuse tap and tap one of your powered fuses that activates when you turn the key. Like the fuse for your radio (center stack). I didn't have to remove my overhead light. Stayed attached to the ceiling. The only thing that came off was the handles, hanger hooks, front pillars, and rear brake light. And just loosing up the back side panels.
