@@samnashold9012you should be fine test it put before hand might just bend a bit cuz of the heat, when you do and if its bent run your flashlight from phone through the end see if they twinkle if they do you good 👍

I’m doing it for the second time with a 600 piece kit. If you had 4-8 people doing this it could genuinely take 2-3 hours. But solo, easily a 24 hour job. That is if you’re changing the headliner material though. That was the longest part imo. It’s such an easy job. Just so tedious and wire management is a must but it is a bitch

What about running the power?? Location of power source?
They never seem to show it but there’s a giant brick all the cables are connected too. Most likely doesn’t fit in the ceiling so you’ll probably hook it to the 12v in the truck then run the cables up a side pillar. requires a bit of power
@@rileyzack4346it’s plugs into the 12v adapter in your car, it does not take more than 16 watts so no it does not take a lot of power, and the “giant brick” is actually about 3 inches by 3 inches by 2 inches

Cordless Dremel tool with correct mm bit size you can poke the holes 10x faster, and looks much cleaner. it’s alright tho everyone starts somewhere!!

If you do it right you can wire it to the car battery and it should be good for a very long time otherwise it might be running off a battery pack that you gotta change the batteries when they die

I wanna do my car but I had problems doing it on my brothers truck I tried to put adhesive it’ll leaked thru the fabric and leave stains so I didn’t put a lot on it and later on it came off
i heard one drop of hot glue per light does the trick.

Not mine. I got mine done by Opelite Optics.
@@kyotijhan3456 eh, I saw another video after commenting that did show it it pokes out. His solution was using a brush and brushing the headliner which helps fluff it a little cover the tips of the fibers.

If you cut the optics flush with the headliner you shouldn’t be able to tell because they are clear so they will blend in with whatever color your headliner is. Just take time when trimming.
