How to crochet a V-stitch rectangle/blanket? | Crochet With Samra

Learn how to crochet a V-stitch rectangle/blanket in this video.
Using 100% acrylic yarn with 4mm hook.
Abbreviations:
ch - chain
chs - chains
sl st - slip stitch
dc - double crochet
st - stitch
sts - stitches
Written Pattern:
Round 1: ch22, (dc, ch1, dc) in 7th ch from hook. [Skip next 2chs, V(dc, ch1, dc) in next ch] across. [ch3, V(dc, ch1, dc)]2times in same st. [Skip next 2chs, V(dc, ch1, dc) in next ch] across. ch3, dc in same st, ch1. sl st in 3rd ch to join.
Round 2: sl st in ch3 space, ch4, [dc, ch3, V(dc, ch1, dc)]in same ch3 space, V(dc, ch1, dc) in each ch1 space across until you reach ch3 space. [V(dc, ch1, dc), ch3, V(dc, ch1, dc)] in next ch3 space. V(dc, ch1, dc) in next ch1 space. [V(dc, ch1, dc), ch3, V(dc, ch1, dc)] in next ch3 space. V(dc, ch1, dc) in each ch1 space across until you reach ch3 space. [V(dc, ch1, dc), ch3, V(dc, ch1, dc)] in next ch3 space. V(dc, ch1, dc) in next ch1 space, sl st in 3rd ch to join.
Round 3: sl st in ch1 space, dc & in ch3 space. ch4, [dc, ch3, V(dc, ch1, dc)]in same ch3 space, V(dc, ch1, dc) in each ch1 space across until you reach ch3 space. Fasten off, weave the ends or continue in the same way to make it as big as you want.

How big this blanket will be? I am looking to make a full size blanket. Do I still use the same amount of chains for the center or should I increase it? Please somebody help ? Thnk you.

You can use same number of chains if you like, just keep increasing every round in the same way to make it bigger. Thank you. 🙂
