Is a 4 years old video but that's the reason I just bought this exact screen to put it in front of my 85 inches Tv , and use the projector for movie nights
What I did with mine is I used 1 by 3 and made a backing plate that ran the length of the screen so that it would be in the studs and the screen was attached to the 1 by 3 . Made for a secure mounting and the 1 by 3 looks great
Buahahaha...I like that pause when taking a smoke! The only question is...why 120" when you have plenty of room for more :)) I bought 150" but I am not sure if I will have enough room to place it :)) Enjoy man...Cheers!
@@mrbooking465 You're welcome. I just received 150" and it's big (huge), but also heavy, hm. My room is only 4x4 m and the screen itself is 3.3 m lol and the only free wall that I came up recently is the one with windows :) anyway I won't be able to project 150", probably 135" Enjoy, Cheers!
Looks like you need to lens shift your projector to the right to properly position the image and get maximum benefit out of the projector and the screen. You may also want to look into painting the screen with a specialized mix that will give you more vivid colors and deeper blacks and can also help viewing with lights on. Good job and enjoy your projector. Tv can't compare to watching movies on a big screen.
@@mrbooking465 Thanks for posting the video. I'm about to get back into projection myself and can't wait. I recommend checking out Crow1176 on TH-cam. I've bought his mix in the past and it helped beyond compare. He has several new mixes now too that I want to try. Very inexpensive and fast shipping and his quart of paint will cover 120" at least, mine covered 150" and had some to spare. You won't believe the difference but won't go back to anything else, especially for the cost. Just check out some of his vids and you'll see his results. I highly recommend his mix and will use it again soon. The man is a master at his craft and he's dedicated to continuously perfecting it.
@@mrbooking465 You may be right about not having lens shift on your projector, not all projectors have it. It's basically a feature that literally shifts the lens left, right or vertically if equipped so you can get your throw lined up with your screen. You may be able to buy a mount that allows you to shift your projector left or right, then lock it down, or maybe you can modify yours to do the same thing. Either way, if you're happy with it, then that's all that matters. Enjoy your movies brother 👍
@@mrbooking465 in the ceiling they are joists not studs(studs are in the walls) and is the timber that the dry wall boards are screwed to.So his question is did you screw into them because if not there is a very good chance that the screws will pull out of the drywall boards

It just seemed to Me that it was off kilter a little. Meaning the projector wasn't keystoning (even on the left and right side). Nice video. I personally would LOVE to have a 200''-300'' 16:9 Fixed Frame Movie Screen. But I'm told that I can't have those sizes because it's not being realistic and I don't understand that most if not all projectors can't produce an image that large. But on some projectors it says - Can Produce An Image Up To 300 Inches. So I'm guessing that is complete FALSE ADVERTISING??? Or am I being told that I can't have a screen that size is because certain people are jealous???
@@mrbooking465 The question would be - Is how large of an area of wall would one need to fit an 200''-300'' inch picture? Now I'm not sure but my apartment has a ceiling hight of 12 feet tall and the area could give Me between 150''-180'' inch picture.

Do you remember the exact model of this 120" elite screen projector? It looks like 16:9 manual pull down but most are black casing
Недавно взял себе модель M120XWH2-E24 корпус белый. Сверху 600мм чёрное поле. Такая же модель только без Е24 сверху вроде 150мм чёрное поле.
