Revised a shorter video with less ads. See video description for product links.

well, the first mountings on the ceiling look pretty thin and over the time these hooks will break due to material fatigue
      - at least those for your square screen in the beginning. We got a 3 m screen with motor and so on from amazon for roughly 120€ inkl. 19% VAT ... and that works quite good ... but just 2 years since we got it.

You're supposed to hold onto the string as screen retracts so it doesn't slam into the casing

I got the elite screens for ultra short throw laser, and it's pretty amazing. I'll never go back to TVs now that I've experienced a 100" screen with a laser projector! The only downside is that you have to keep the room dark, but it's worth it to have that real big screen experience.

Are you happy with projector after 3 years? If yes, what model is that?

hey how is the video quality between the cheaper and the more expensive one? is it worth spending 200 dollars more just for the image quality?

I just bought the Elite Screens Manual B 110-INCH Manual Pull Down Projector Screen , and looking at your video that's the exact screen budget friendly I was looking for because I want to keep my 85 inches Tv at the same place and just use the projector to watch movies so I just need to pull down the screen and whoala a big theater image in my living room

*Pro tip* You can always build a sort of soffit to cover the projector and make it less noticeable

“As you can see, it doesn’t curl up here.” *shows us a curled up screen*
He was definitely paid for this review lol.

Can the hooks for the projector screen be mounted at any point along the side, or are the mounting positions fixed?

As you can see this one does not curl up *proceeds to show us a curled up edge*

it was less curled but yes he should have been a bit more honest - I would if this is almost unavoidable to some degree with screens that are curled up into a roll when not in use ?

You do know you can easily make it into an automated unit that uses a remote. I set mine up a good 15 years ago, it is still working great. If you are unsure, you can get all the parts from your local Window covering store. You might be able to find them at big box store like lowes. it isn't tooo expensive and it works great.

Well duh for one you’re not suppose to just let it go when it retracts because it doesn’t have what is called controlled screen return like nicer ones. Second that particular screen is more designed to be used in a classroom where screen resolution and stuff isn’t a big deal. They are mainly used with film strip projectors or over head projectors.

Letting go of the string and saying it slams up? That’s like putting stuff on the floor by dropping it from height and complaining it slams down when it hits the floor

Been interested in getting a second screen. The first I got is from elite 100". But was curious if I got a generic 150" for lesser price as a second screen. Even the elite screen will slam upwards sometimes and other times will move up slow. Most times I rather just hold it as it raises up.

There are some generic 150" screens on Amazon now that are high gain grey alr for less than 500$

That's one nasty screen. It's not worth $10 let alone $65. You were ripped off.

Why is it nasty, besides the curling edges?
