- It's FAR more than the 80 minutes when it comes to a game at Loftus Versfeld. I've learned that much very quickly. There's nowhere quite like this - certainly not anywhere I've been to anyway.

I was there at Twickenham in 1992 when South Africa were returning to the World's stage, an occasion I'll never forget - I still have the programme & match on VHS.

Great post today Tim. Gives us a great insight into attending a game in South Africa. Glad Tim never got sucked into becoming a South African for the day. Neutral green shirt 😂 I Love it ! . Some great characters there and surprised at the lack of Irish fans there. Africans got a right to be so proud of their nation as are we English . Improving under Borthwick and through to the semis in the Euros and Wimbledon today as well as F1 at silverstone with Russell on pole 🏴 and Hamilton and Norris 🏴2nd and 3rd .
Loved this pre-match coverage and the Hot Takes afterwards. On your suggestion I subscribed to Jordan Buhr's channel as well and he has also posted some wonderful prematch "gees" and also great footage of you and him fieldside during the game. Really captures the excitement - almost as good as being there. I saw you were also taking lots of footage down there, so hope you will share more of it. It looks like you were both having such a blast. It is coverage like that that really sets you apart from mainstream sport broadcasters and even from other rugby TH-camrs!!

Been a subscriber since last year - Henceforth, thy shall be known as "Eggmaster"😂😂😂 It was a hard game, though I correctly expected the Boks to be a bit rusty after the long break. The Irish defense was immense - respect! They will have to be better next game as the Boks get into their stride again... Pollard had one of his off days with the boot - but our defence in that channel suddenly cracked a bit when he was replaced, leading to an easy try. But that will be sorted soon.
Tim, did you feel like you were floating around when you were walking especially with all those positive vibes and friendly gees? It will take many hours to come back down to earth.
