While you were shooting did you adjust your exposure with your shutter (I saw it at 1/500 @1:45 and it sounds like the aperture is locked at f4)? Are you using an ND filter to allow you to keep your shutter speed inline with your frame rate? That was my biggest issue with the mark 1 (along with the lack of AF, which it sounds like they sort of fixed).
When Sony doesn’t have a proper flip up screen in their Alpha series but manage to do a perfect flip screen in such tiny device!!! Come on Sony 🤣 Great video ☺️☺️☺️☺️👍 this would make a perfect camera for my hiking trips.

Looks like this is year is becoming the year of really great LITTLE cameras. On paper, it makes sense that the low light performance would be better than the Pocket Osmo and GoPro7Black, but lets see a comparison. The Pocket Osmo is my daytime camera of choice, but can't go beyond iso 400. Show us some low light comparisons please.

yea this what i been waiting on to shoot on top of my other cameras while i shoot pics it can give me video of sports too.. gopro and sony action cames was to fisheye and wide at times.

Man I'm really happy that Sony moved forward with this because i thought it was done! lol I turned mines back in on day three because it was overheating on me within 5 to 10mins but I loved the size and format of it. I would buy it again in a heart beat if it dont overheat (much) lol at least 20 to 30 mins i'll be fine. The new updates seem cool. Please let me know if its ok when you get back the #1 thing is overheating for me. Looks good Jason thanks for the info. Go RX02 $699 WTH!!! lol but I did like it better than the GoPro for what i was doing with it. Just me

That autofocus problem is the biggest turn-off. Started to get excited about it as I am looking to get an action cam in the future to have next to my A7III cameras. I honestly, don't care about the 4k that much, but more about image quality and autofocus, battery life, the camera not overheating and all that. Hope the next one will be better.
Would love to see slog footage on this camera. I wonder how you will expose since there are no nd filters for this camera and slog usually has a high baseline ISO
Depending on your needs I guess. Definitely not for me. RX100 VI has (roughly) 10x optical zoom to begin with, not to mention better controls, AF-C, etc. After watching this video me thinks "RX0 II... Expensive piece of garbage". I am wondering if low light is better than GoPro 7 though.
Oh man, if only it was a little cheaper this would be a fantastic vlogging camera for me to always have in my pocket! Love that it has the flip up screen and the mic input. Ah well, going to stick with my old Panasonic G6 and its SLR Magic 8mm lens, until I can afford splurging out for a cheap secondhand Panasonic G85

This camera is really impressive. But I am still eagerly waiting for a compact wide angle camera with minimal distortion and fisheye effect and a good depth of field and variable aperture.
Actually, I really like GoPro view angle and also price is cheaper than RX0 II almost 50%. But, I do not like GoPro about theirs reliability. They're always not working that need to remove the battery and restart again. GoPro Pro - Epic wide angle, price, more accessery, Hyperlapse, Stabilizer is better than RX0 II (my opinion) Con - Reliability RX0 II Pro - Flip screen, tough, bigger sensor, reliability (my opinion, I have A6500 which has no minor issue like GoPro), Slog Con - Price and ordinary angle (24 mm.) Anyway, good review Bro. :)

I use a GoPro hero 7, from first look it seems to me the quality on that is better, but would love to see a good comparison of that.

I'd say compare it with the galaxy s10 or an iPhone xs. Nowadays smartphone cameras has gotten so good. I've actually stopped using my Sony A6000.

It looks awesome, but it's hard to justify the price with the A6400 out now. Not to mention no continuous AF is a dealbreaker for me.
