[SRB2: Silverhorn] Beating the Entirety of Mindscape as Surge the Tenrec (while also sucking at it)

This is definitely not as difficult as that video of the guy who beat Mindscape with Delta Chars, or the one of the guy who beat it with Luigi, but I thought it was cool how Surge can go through almost the entire the level through conventional means.
This video is edited to skip some of the filler and make it more fun, though I might upload the full unedited video eventually (it's around half an hour long, and there is no commentary).

The fact the level just straight up softlocks you if you aren't Inazuma is kinda lame. Like I do get it, "we made this for the main protagonist, we can't make the super awesome conclusion arc of this super big level for EVERYONE", but still.
That aside, good video - really fun and snappy editing, and great skill, too!

Well, to be fair the level wasn't really meant for any character other than Inazuma, you can drag Aether into it by playing as both of them together, but clearly the level was built around Inazuma.
The unique character dialogues are just there for multiplayer mode, where other characters can be brought along to Mindscape, even if most can't complete them on their own.
All of that being said, yes I do wish we could at least be allowed to complete Phase 3 as other characters too.

I do find it weird how Kirby has no unique dialogue from what ive heard, especially considering that the boss health bar is inspired by and the one of the music tracks is from his series.

heads up instead of setting your lives to 99 you can set them to -1 which sets them to infinity

I know that, I just wanted to keep it an actual number because seeing the number go down as the video progresses is kind of funny (plus i'm not bad enough to lose all 99 lives so it's practically the same for me)

I actually did this stage with Lilac (Yes there’s a Lilac mod out there) and I was surprised by how much distance she covers

It's really cool that Surge's kit allows her to actually beat the level without too much caveats. Facciollo really has to step up his game, mf can get cooked by TWO electric elementals 😭

Good job. I tried to beat it as Kiryu Kazuma and I thought it was possible but I got stuck at the looping water pillar because Kiryu can't run on water or gain enough height to reach the end of the segment

I haven't played with Kiryu Kazuma before so I don't know much about how he plays, but yeah if you can't run on water or gain enough height and distance, then you're pretty much stuck.

He can skip most of the level using Aether skip, though he gets stuck in the part before the drop to the Next Checkpoint.

How do I get to mind scape zone? I collect all the seven chaos emeralds but nothing happen

You need all Emeralds + 50 rings and a Portal will show up at the end, only if you're playing as Inazuma or Inazuma & Aether

After beating the entirety of it once, you can just use the command "map mindscape" to get there with any character

I don't think you'll read this but I still have this doubt, what do they do so that in moments where gravity changes the camera doesn't rotate?

It's a vanilla setting, you can find it in Options > Player 1 Controls > Camera Options, it says "Flip Camera with Gravity"

How do you get other characters into mindscape?

Well normally you need all Emeralds + 50 rings for the Portal to show up at the end of a level, but that's only when you're playing as Inazuma or Inazuma & Aether.
To play Mindscape with other characters you'll need to beat the entire level normally at least once, and then use the command "map mindscape" to get there.

Play as inazuma, have all emeralds, and grab 50 - 60 ring, portal should be at the end of the stage
