- In this video, I address a couple of ruptured grease boots on my girlfriend's 2018 Silverado 1500. These are not the OEM links that came with the truck, but rather the shorter Fabtech Tie Rod Ends (Part# FTS20277).
Although they are different, the principle of the replacement still applies.
Anyhow, this is a really simple replacement and shouldn't take more than 20-30 minutes (depending on your rust situation) after you get the tires off.
