“That’s the moon. It looks small, but that’s only because it’s far away.” I desperately want Jon to team up with UpIsNotJump to record an astronomy lecture now.
"Aha! But I've managed to escape the inevitable court-martialling! And you know, the associated prison term and disgrace of my family for generations to come." Ah yes, that most essential quality of a heroic leader - dodging the consequences of their actions and learning nothing! 😂😂😂
Or, more likely: Claire: Jon, your reactor is about to explode... 10 minutes later... Jon: Claire, my reactor just exploded, why did that happen?... Claire:
Didn't tag half the enemy ships, didn't notice being boarded, barely escaped with several holes in the hull... Yep, clearly Claire having access to the self destruct is the biggest danger to the ship
I guess we're not returning to good ol' Blighty this time round lads. All power to engines, warp speed mr Sulu (I love how they seem to have used the Stargate SG1 warp effect btw)
Yes, but this is Jon we're talking about. He spent the entire first two missions of Bomber Crew not seeing the big red "You do realise you can reload your guns, right?!" sign. 😂
"That's the moon, it looks small but that's only because it's far away." This just instantly reminds me of Father Ted- "These are small, but the ones out there are far away."
I downloaded Bomber Crew on the XBOX Game Pass for PC, a month or two ago, and the only reason I stopped playing (at the moment) is because it was taken off the pass. The game is so much fun, it starts out a little intimidating, with everything happening all at once, so quickly. But once you get the hang of it, it's quite nice to sit back and fly about with your crew over video-game Germany / France, and then panic your way back again when you got a little too over confident with your crews skills and thought "Yeah, I can fly in just a bit farther, no harm in that."
ok, not sure how this works for data but imagine if the global weather in-game was the actual weather right now, which canonically makes no sense, but just as a random feature, sounds amazing. well, at least cloud movement
i was thinking you've return to space station zone safely with success rescue missiom, but after seeming spaceship cabin, one of your crew are dying than it was shocking to see passenger dead, later crew die too... feeling of being disappointed, a failure to do what one has promised. (Save One but it is dead, only return with two dead body) - Please try again, you can do it. i saw other videos, with success rescue missiom & always one crew dead. (Save One, Die One)
Jon- love ya man but not a game for you! Way too much perception required. You only focused on the outside and didn’t have people repairing anything inside or killing the boarded aliens. Ha
Game tells Jon he's being boarded about a hundred times. Jon 10 minutes later: ''There's an alien on the ship!''. Perception -100
Does he play by rolling his face on the keyboard?
@@Kaarl_Mills yes, how else would a carton of eggs?
It's very much easier to be a bystander in games like these. The adrenaline and split focus can really get to you.
Game: "Overdrive: Warning, radiation!"
Jon: "This may cause fires."
Game: "Radiation! Radiation!"
Jon: "Do we know what might have caused this?"
“That’s the moon. It looks small, but that’s only because it’s far away.”
I desperately want Jon to team up with UpIsNotJump to record an astronomy lecture now.
Jon learned everything he knows about astrophysics from talking over Dan on the Podcats.
“I at least have the realistic aspiration of dying in a position that confuses future archeologists.”
Are you quoting Jam?
Quoting ZeroPunctuation.
"Aha! But I've managed to escape the inevitable court-martialling! And you know, the associated prison term and disgrace of my family for generations to come."
Ah yes, that most essential quality of a heroic leader - dodging the consequences of their actions and learning nothing! 😂😂😂
Claire having access to self-destruct is less of a threat to the ship than IRLJon not noticing boarders for nearly two minutes...
I can picture it now.
Jon: "Claire, Claire! The reactors broken!"
Claire: "Jon, you're a grown man! Fix your own reactor!"
Or, more likely:
Claire: Jon, your reactor is about to explode...
10 minutes later...
Jon: Claire, my reactor just exploded, why did that happen?...
Claire:
*Claire hits self destruct button*
only jon wouldn't notice when his ship been invaded by aliens
Jon: Perception -10...
My friend made this and Bomber Crew! It's so crazy to see how much it blew up and think "holy shit i know that guy"
lol, I love the way Jon doesn't see that the ship was being boarded!
Jon has 1 Perception.
@@extralyfe -1
I new from the second I saw the announcement on Steam that this game was in the works that Jon would be playing it!
How do the neighbours respond to hearing 'CLAIRE GET A GUN'?
They're probably used to it by now...
Linda get the ketchup
Neighbour1: "should we be worried?"
Neighbour2: "Nah. Claire is sensible. She'll give Jon the rubber prop gun so he can't hurt himself."
Saw an add the other day for this and said to myself "self Jon will be have this on the channel in a week"
I can't help but feel that defensive flying would have been warranted at several points.
When the game tells you multiple times theres people on the ship, but you dont read the actual screen you're looking at... RIP Walker
"To Boldly Blow Up..."
To be fair, that sounds like life for the protagonists in any space-based game Jon plays...
How about a ship crew - but in the peolopennisian war era? ;)
That's called assassin's creed odyssey
Or a pirate crew aka AC Black Flag
Runner Duck making a Crew game about a Neopoleanic era frigate would be amazing.
“It’s like FTL but you’re even more likely to die” so, for me at least, this game is impossible then.
I love that he literally ignored two bierding warning and just got it when his gunner died
So it's like FTL but...
Have not heard that in a while.
I highkey love Panic at the Egg Carton
I’d trust Claire with the self destruct button over trusting Jon with it.
Jon would sit on it by accident
L L Jon would intentionally press it after being told not to.
I'd trust Claire with... just about anything before I'd trust Jon with it.
Didn't tag half the enemy ships, didn't notice being boarded, barely escaped with several holes in the hull... Yep, clearly Claire having access to the self destruct is the biggest danger to the ship
Yes John you did your job great.. (killing the crew the ship and the passenger..) "GOOD JOB JOHN!!!"
I guess we're not returning to good ol' Blighty this time round lads. All power to engines, warp speed mr Sulu
(I love how they seem to have used the Stargate SG1 warp effect btw)
It is very similar.
There was a HUGE banner saying aliens were on the ship about 5 times it flashed lol. Poor Walker
Yes, but this is Jon we're talking about. He spent the entire first two missions of Bomber Crew not seeing the big red "You do realise you can reload your guns, right?!" sign. 😂
"we don't need gravity". Yeah... I thought the same. I regretted that when I had to move people around.
I played this, and I LOVE it much more than bomber crew. AMAZING. GG to the devs for both!
The moment i know jon is the pilot of the ship, that's where i lost all hope for survival
26:10 That's your fault, she needed to be ordered to do it.
How did i miss this video? I loved bomber crew. Looking forward to this vid and game when it releases
11:10 gosh, it’s a good thing no one has taken that quote out of context.
"It's okay, I've got everyone tagged"
Narrator:"But it was not okay, he did not have everyone tagged"
The "crushing vaccum of space"?! It's violently uncrushing, if anything.
Also... this earth terminator seems really wrong.
At least you got a good reactor unlike all the other people I have seen play this
9:52 Jon, the egg carton, has let his eggs go a little green there by the looks.
Surprised the crew didn’t just become Captain Simeon and the Space Monkeys as soon as the crew customisation happened
"it's bomber crew, but in space" .....soooo literally FTL
5 Jon you missed 5 boarding party alerts lol.
8:58
Does his ship now look like a broken texture to anyone?
Jon explained perspective to us like we are Dougal 😂
This is clearly a rip off of captain simian and the space monkeys
Watching in 2024, wondering where that video of Jon "seeing this again when it comes out in full" went... :D
I'm pretty sure that's Wilfred Warfstache in the pilot's seat, Jon.
"That's the moon, it looks small but that's only because it's far away."
This just instantly reminds me of Father Ted- "These are small, but the ones out there are far away."
I wonder how many times Claire runs into the room thinking Jon needs help but she’s actually just yelling at the game
Jon's a She?
We need a "Claire" counter for this video. It may have beaten the single video record, which I assume would be Benor from the Skyrim series.
TH-cam isn't allowing me to watch this.
It's saying it can't be played in the background while watching on full screen SMH.
Ah, good old TH-cam...
I'm here just to have a shot every time he says yeah. =)

If you can find a way to get it hotter I still have a bit of eye left
Was watching star trek TNG when I got the notification for this and the title made me say "haha weird coincidence"
Not gonna lie, I didn't realize he was boarded because I don't need to pay attention to all the notifications xD Oops.
ok, not sure how this works for data but imagine if the global weather in-game was the actual weather right now, which canonically makes no sense, but just as a random feature, sounds amazing.
well, at least cloud movement

I thought this looked somewhat familiar...
Good afternoon, Laeesha!
Note to self; moon far, not small.
Are you saying it isn't really the size of a 5p coin? 😄
The ship hurts to look at
I’m not sure MATN has the required perception level for this game.
That's like a staple of the channel
Claire!!!
Slight problem with the ship design in this game? Where's the lavatory and galley?
In the future man doesn't pee...
yay
Jon- love ya man but not a game for you! Way too much perception required. You only focused on the outside and didn’t have people repairing anything inside or killing the boarded aliens. Ha
instead of blowing up, why not just
flee?
Hey man can you do hit man 2 (the new one) kill everyone
Day 38 of requesting zoo tycoon. No bombing, sadly
I love hot pink!
Day 4 of asking Jon to finish his playthrough of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
