They were heated leather Mazda 6 seats ...I removed the foam and leather trim off the metal frames...99% of car seat foam can be lifted straight off the metal frame.... I made a new lighter 4130 chromoly frame for the backs and a carbon fibre base to match the floor shape for the bottoms. They were a little wide so a friend (motor trimmer) took about 2 inches off the width of both seats, filled the airbag voids with foam and added some foam under the bottom along with the cutout for the control column. The seat back is adjustable at the bottom fore and aft about 2 inches and the base just velcros to the carpet. It was quite easy and their really comfy .
Can I get some information about the headrests? I have always wanted to add them to my 6A
Don..the seats are from a Mazda with all the heavy metal stripped out of them...you can watch how here...th-cam.com/video/TGUE3TMcEIM/w-d-xo.html
