Thank you for getting it out there, I joined a month ago. I've been getting the email and text from the BRC for a year. It's very important to make our voices heard in the public comments period of the BLM Proposals on changes and restrictions. I bet I've sent 300 emails to our Representatives through the BRC.
Enjoy you Channel, ours is still growing (Rolling with the Davises). We did the White Rim in October 2022 and stayed at Murphys A campsite. Loved seeing yours on the White Rim.

Great video. Im amazed how many people have no idea about the filming laws and everyone has quit talking about it.Definitely plan on joining BRC. With your permission i'd like to share this video on my Facebook page for my followers?

"you need to have a permit" - meaning, you've got to pay yet another @#% tax.
you want to what? Here, pay this fee (tax), and if you don't, you'll have to pay this (much larger tax) fine.
The US Govt is simply out of control.

I get it if you are going to be disruptive to normal park activities, but someone filming themselves doing what everyone else is doing and is not interfering with anyone else, park staff, or anything else.....well...that makes no sense.

@@TrailTraveler I get that point of view, but it's a shared space and some users will always take more than their share. Just the act of filming creates a magic bubble of discomfort once nearby people realize it's happening. One aspiring Instagram or TikTok star with a smartphone might not be too disruptive but the problem is there's about a billion of them, and park rangers are already overburdened with keeping blithe tourists out of restricted areas and away from dangerous animals. For various reasons, some legitimate, the feds write rules that are blunt and create documentation trails. I'm kind of amazed the Park Service employees have as much discretion as they do.

    Hi Cary (or Kerry?)
Do you have to be a monetized/larger creator to be able to get the donation link added? If I can do it, how do I add that link? In Studio?
On scene, do you need to be able to substantiate membership with documents or a membership card to keep filming without too much of a pause?
Thanks and thanks to the Blue Ribbon Coalition!
    I hope this becomes law.

Who made these “rules”? Was it a law that was ratified by our elected government officials? Or was it some unelected bureaucratic just making up rules? The Supreme Court recently ruled that most of these rules if not ratified by our elected representatives into law are unconstitutional. But someone who has been fined under these regulations needs to file a lawsuit and win to set precedents. Many of the federal regulations are not actual laws and are unconstitutional. I would suggest legal representation be questioned if this regulation is even constitutional, or are the federal parks just trying gain a new source of revenue at citizens expense?

People need to look at the FAA drone laws also. The last I looked you can’t fly your drone from a moving vehicle. Also you need the commercial license to post drone on monitored media.

@@AmericanPrideHB actually, you can fly from a moving vehicle in sparsely populated areas. No national parks allow drone usage at all.

@ I looked it up, they changed it from several years ago. You are correct.

Paying for permits to film in NATIONAL PARKS that we ALL pay for sounds like extortion to me ... there shouldnt be any fees or permits to film in parks WE pay for not to mention the camping fees we all pay for campgrounds in and around nat parks
