    I hope you share with use the finished product. Really like the colors you choose and the details. Would like to see the performance numbers with the cleaned up airframe. I think it going to be interesting. Thanks!

    Absolutely beautiful! Do you have an estimate on how much weight was added from the paint? However much it is, it was worth it!

    What type of base coat did you use? How long do you have between base and clear? Looks amazing!

      @ozarea5140  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Australian Concept Paints was used throughout ...Base coat is best cleared once its dry for a chemical bond..if left too long there's a good chance of the clear delaminating off the base...BUT..for longer open times for running artwork, lines etc, once all that's done a coat of adhesion promoter or intercoat clear (clear basecoat) just before you 2K clear,this will bite into the previous base coats because of its high thinner content..consult your paint company for their products...cheers

    What material did you use to cover all the rivets?

    • @ozarea5140
      @ozarea5140  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      UPOL Fantastic ultra lightweight body filler on epoxy primer not on the aluminium then epoxy over the top again.Though the primer fills most of the rivets once you sand it.

    How do you hang the skin without rivet.

    • @ozarea5140
      @ozarea5140  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The skins are riveted ..they've just been filled with filler prior to priming

      Which filler did you use and most importantly have you had any issues with it.

      @@ozarea5140 Your plane is absolutely stunning. Do you have any videos that show how you filled over the rivets? I am just starting an RV-10 and I love the smooth look.
