Hey Bryan. The profile actually can tie to key fob. When you setup the profile, just make sure another key is out of range. For example set your profile to your key fob at your shop while your wife fob is at home (if it's far enough) .

With Bimmercode you can eliminate the delay in opening windows using the key fob, you can also enable rolling them up using the lock button on the key fob plus add folding mirrors if you'd like.
Yeah this was a life saver for me. I removed the delays for closing and reduced to 0.5s for opening, such a game changer.

Got to code to turn off your license plate lights in reverse. Makes backing up visibility so much better. More so if you have an Alpine White paint

Great, didnt know that the spare tire latch could hold like that.. always used my head to hold it... LOL
I use the ventilation cooling a lot, but I do it via BMW app when needed.
I also have one of my “radio” hot buttons programmed to it.

You can use the BMW Connected app and start it on your phone before leaving
Or If you just pop in and out somewhere press The fan Button after turning your car off and you can leave fan blasting while you are away.

Leaving the indicator arm in the left or right position will activate parking lights on the selected side

When you hold your bmw “icon” on key it closes all the windows and the sunroof(if you have one)
hey, this actually does not work for me. (2013 bmw f30 m-sport Black Sapphire Metallic) when I hold the lock "bmw" button on the key fob, no windows close, however when I touch and hold the door handle, it all closes.
And if you have an F33 convertible, it will open and close the top from holding unlock and lock key fob buttons, as long as you stay within a few feet of the car
Can also be done on a Honda 🤷♂️😂
@@kylebm3 In some markets it's not unlocked due to safety regulations. I think that's the case in North America.
@yack_f30 you can get the Carly adapter and program it. After programming it you would be able to access this feature. There are more programmable features that may be locked on your car. I did this with my F32 because like yours, mine was locked

Bonus to no. 7 is the profiles are also activated by the keys. If you're driving with key no.1 and your wife drives with key no. 2, you don't have to switch profiles. It checks which keys unlocks the car.
the three buttons on the rear view mirror are for coding your garage remote into the car
The middle seat opening from the inside is nice too if you need to access the trunk but don’t want to pull over and stop the car

Man this video had me running down to the garage like a kid on Christmas..... my M3 doesn't have it, it just stores all of the Driver's Assistance Package buttons, such a waste.

The handle lights coming on in reverse has to be coded, unless your car was equipped with one of the less common packages (can't remember which one).
You can turn it on in your iDrive settings. No need to code.
jay.c I saw it once in the iDrive but when i went to check again i could not find it, can you tell me where this setting is? its been really annoying not finding it haha

As someone with a F32, those lights don't do a damn thing at night with my tint lol, I roll down the windows when it's not raining, need to code out the passenger mirror tilt down, it's way more inconvenient than convenient, it tilts down and you can't see the car you're trying to park next to at all

I had an Audi that allows me to deactivates the DRLs if my handbrake was active (with VCDS coding). I really like that option for the moment when you're at the streets and need the car turned on but want to be hidden.
I live in Brazil so we're always looking at the streets to see if some stranger is coming (2 guys on a motorcycle).

That headlight feature just occurs third time you press them in general use. My mums 2013 520d had those back in the day

I am sure you know this, but maybe you can show it on your next show on how to reset the speed, quick shifts, agile, and fuel efficiency tricks.
I have an f10 msport, its the same and it works on my f10.
Basically, you can put in your code, add last 7 of your vin=double digits, then you unlock the car, once reset.
Drive the car hard, fast and let it shift gears at high rpms then the car will reprogram your driving habits and adapt to it. Thus saving fuel while driving hard....👍🤗🔥
Hi Brian. Big fan all the way from South Africa. I learned a few things from this amazing video. Since changing my fuel pump my fuel gauge has been acting up and throwing drive train errors even through the car is moving just fine. I hope the cluster reset will fix it. Will update

If you hold the lock button it puts the windows back up. And the easy access to the trunk with the foot sensor is an optional extra most won't have it.

The mirror thing my 97 540i does, as well as the key fob window open. My 340i though also closed the windows using the key fob if I hold the lock button
What country are you in because I dont think the US spec cars do it
Yea my 02 330i was able to open and close the windows with the keyfob, as well as the tilting left mirror when reversing. It was made in the us
The window closing thing is universal, literally any modern car does that
