You putting everything together made it complete… NICE JOB W W W W
Greetings from Texas! Nice clean build. Complete strip, all new wheels, tires and bearings. New motor, clutch and chain. I noticed the correct nylon locking nuts on the new spindle bolts and new brakes. Very nice clean build done the correct way. The only change that I would have made would have been to convert it to a live axle, but that is just a personal preference. Good clean build using the correct parts. Thanks for the video.
Black for the wheels was a nice touch
THANK YOU!!! I have been trying to figure out a solution for a larger drive wheel on my Kart and seeing how you cut-off and welded longer bolts saved the day! plus the rest of the video had tons of info....WELL DONE SIR!!!!
Loved this! We just picked up a fun project, I had no idea there was so much go kart videos on youtube! Keep it up ❤️
Awesome glad you guys are posting again! I was sad when you guys stopped posting because this was one of my favorite channels. Cant wait to see more videos!(u should put some music in ur next upload)
Cool build!! Great seeing your vintage Chevy P/U again. Glad that you’re keeping your channel going. Gig ‘Em ‘72👍
Those one wheel peels corner beautifully.
Great job on the build. I really like the colors you chose!
Nice build. Turned out great!
Great Job! This is how it all starts!
This turned out so awesome!!!
Nice looking kart, I have found Easy Off oven cleaner followed by power washing works well for cleaning/stripping metal. Also might want to put some grease on those king pins...
Excellent job, Joe, that cart turned out super cool!!! So glad to see you posting again, when you get time, bring us another, please!! Thanks!
Nice build. I like the red
My recommendation here and below is 6" split wheels with hubs and 45 degree valve stem tubes with the same tires you had at the first which have a much higher stance for a yard kart with a 1" live axle. I am getting 55 + mph with a bone stock predator 212 hemi still governed @ 3600 rpm with no adjustments to the governor straight out of the box from Harbor Freight with a 30 series torque convertor and a 6:1 gear ratio = 9T + 54T sprockets connecting the torque convertor to the 1" live axle on an old Manco that has a full roll cage with with two teenage boys riding in it. And both of them are football players so neither one is exactly small. 300 lbs plus riding inside the kart. A 212 cc predator is already knocking on almost 8 hp. Rather your using a 30 series torque convertor or a 4 gear 2 chain jackshaft with centrifugal clutch setup . Your looking always for a 6:1 gear ratio for anything up to 8 hp with a tire size less than 15 inches especially when using a centrifugal clutch. Changing your tire size meaning the ( "height" ) of the tire also changes your gear ratio. The first tire you had was 13". You can measure from the floor to your center axle bolt and just multiply by 2 for your tire height in inches. The split rims and tubes and tires I use can run anywhere from as little as 4 psi to 24 psi max. I just run mine at the max psi for the height and bead setting as well as less resistance when rolling.
** A gear ratio of 6:1 ratio with a Centrifugal Clutch will last about seven years as long as you add a single drop of oil between the retaining clip and the clutch daily or as needed. Caution: Do Not over soak the clutch in oil. It only takes barely a single drop from an oil can **
** Manco's originally came with a 5/8 jackshaft pre welded together on a 1"plate and pre drilled mounting holes and screws as a 1 pc. unit that mounted between your engine and to the karts mounting plate. New 5/8 jackshaft plates can be purchased but, also require a set of 1" risers with mounting bolts that slide between your engine and karts mounting plate and the jackshaft plate. A 1" rise is a must for install of a 30 series torque convertor. **
( 3/4 centrifugal clutch with a 5/8 Jackshaft w 1"rise & 1" live axle setup predator 212 cc ).
clutch 3/4" 10T Engine
clutch rear 5/8" 20T Jackshaft
live axle 5/8" 18T Jackshat
live axle 1" 54T Live Axle
The above Clutch side is a 2:1 ratio
The above Live Axle side is a 3:1 ratio
Now multiply both sides together. 2:1 x 3:1 = 6:1 gear ratio.
** All gears should be listed as #420 or #41 Type B or C when ordering **
** Avoid ordering #40 chains or gears, or you can only use #40 chains or gears **
# 420 chain is a 0.25 "internal width" = width of gear teeth in mm. 4000 lb rating
#41 chain has a 0.251 "internal width" = width of gear teeth in mm. 2000 lb rating
#40 chain has a 0.312 "internal width" = width of gear teeth in mm. 4000 lb rating
** lb rating is based on size of pins and thickness of plates that holds the links together **
The #420 chain will have far less slop ( side to side motion ) in the chain. And has greater strength than #41 chain and is the chain most commonly used for go karts. A #35 chain and #35 gears are also used for mini bikes and go karts for "weight saving" in race applications.
** don't forget master links and half links for your type chain when ordering **
** don't forget plenty of 3/4"and 5/8" washers for aligning the clutch, torque convertor, or jackshaft gears to your engine and live axle. **
Nice job 👍
Que TRABALHO excelente !!!
Dá gosto de ver quem saber fazer e fazer bem feito !!!
👉👍🤝
I hope I can find like that
Woah 😮
Definitely would have went live rear whilst doing all that work.
Would mounting the foot pedals in front of the steering arms give you the room you need?
❤
How much did the whole thing cost
Probably 1k-5k
Prolly like 500
Do the pedals come with springs don’t show that they come with any on go power sports website.
How much did it cost for the wheel/tire/sprocket & drum brake setup
I’m patiently waiting on the city car sports bike swap 😩
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m currently building one and I just need tires/rims, sprocket & drum brake
How much for all new parts
Where do you get your parts
Go power sports
ocd cured
Как тебе такое Илон Маск?
I got a sachs rotary engine that I’m selling
180$ was a scam 😂
No way 180 for this… I’ve seen better for free… no offense… other than that W
