@@cthx4583 no I wanted to copy this guys build but he gave absolutely no resources for all the parts he used let alone a simple schematic for the frame… just another TH-camr trying to scam ppl into buying their crap
Hey! So usually I buy from my remnants section at the local metal shop! They charge 1.49 a pound and I would probably us anywhere from 80-150 lbs of metal on a kart! I love to use the square 1x1 tubing! And it usually cost about $1.8-2.25 per foot. I would usually use like 36-50 feet for a project like this. Sheet metal can range but a 4x4 sheet of thin gauge metal might run you like $40-70! Let me know if you have any other questions!
New subscriber you are incredible, I have a similar project together with my father and you have motivated me to continue thanks greetings from Celaya Mexico 🇲🇽👋🏽
Attention everyone⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ I have managed to design a very similar kart to what is in this video through sketchup. I will upload the link when I complete the build so I can finalize the design. It will be absolutely free since this guy never posted this one
Use a contact tip on the end of the welding gun, it will structurally make your welds safer since it would actually direct the shielding gas at your weld
All the people asking for the damned plans and measurements didn't watch the video. The tape on floor is your measurements!!! EACH BOX IS A ONE SQUARE FOOT PEOPLE!!!
I think I might have spend about $2000-2500 on this build! It adds up quickly when you buy all new parts! Really just depends on the parts and what you need. I think spending about $1800-2000 is a great budget to start with!
I’d love to build a go kart but I don’t have no tools or money 😂 the money isn’t really the issue tho I’m sure someone is giving away junk scrap that I can cut up and use on Facebook or something but the tools are what I really need especially the welder and me being picky about how welds look I’d probably have to learn tig welding
Is there a reason you chose the same tire width front and back? I’d go for something smaller, but of course your choice. Good looking kart nonetheless 👍🏼 Glad i subscribed
So I think it was a 10in rim in the back and 9 up front. Definitely too big. Lots of float which was great for drifting but I would recommend like 5-6” up front and 8-9” in the back now!
those front tires are freaking wide.. holy crap.. lol ... build is looking good. thanks for sharing. i am def making one of these this winter.
Are you gonna post the frame design on your website and are you gonna list all the parts you use? I’d love to copy this build
i wish
@@lefantomeband I bought a engine and metal just for this guy to not post any actual detailed dimensions or anything

I’ve messaged him about it on insta I hope he reply’s if y’all have already build one please share your frame designs with me 😭😭,
Hell yeah! Perfect little ripper 😈
Oh yea! No drift sleeves needed just over pressured 10” tires hahahaha
Very clean build and welding 😍
Hey mate is there a way to get the plans for the frame really love the design 👌
Truly the Go Kart God! Wear a resporator next time. Not worth dying for. Awesome video!
What happen to the design sheet I thought you said it would be in the description 🤔
Dude are you gonna post the dimensions of the kart so people can actually replicate your build??????
Do you have the plans up on your site ?
This is very creative amazing 🤩
I’m impressed. I want to do this also…
Where are the plans for this build? I'd be very happy to pay for them, but they aren't available on your site. Thanks!
Where did you get the rear axle? Or did you make it yourself
Yo dude we’re still waiting for dimensions and are you gonna make a list of parts??????? You’d be gangsta as hell if you posted them
How much did the metal cost? What type of tubing would you use to build this cart of you had to use it.

How did you get the hub, tire, and engine components (for example) in Autocad? Did you draw them yourself or are there models that you imported?
Hey man tnx for this video ❤️ god bless you 🎉❤️
Appreciate the support!! Thank you man!!
The seat adjuster 🤌

Hey man, what tire and wheel set did you buy?
I believe these are Van-k Rims and Unilli tires!
@gokartgod 8x6?
I neeeeeeed these wheels and tires, What are the sizes?
What was your king pin aka caster angle? Yours looked a bit forward.. I went with 18 degrees rearward
I did half inch till back
Looking for top speed
I wouldn't mind a few of your designs if that's ok. I wanna build 1 for me and the kids
what engine did u use?
How long did it take you to build it? Nice craft btw
Thank you so much! Probably took me about 1.5-2 months of work! From ordering parts to riding probably around 2.5 months!

what platform did you use to design a frame?
where did u by the rear axel ?

Can you tell me the tire sizes ?
About how much did the frame cost in material?
What metal did you use?
What kind of steal do you use?
Wheres the end cone on your welder thats used to shield the gas
Hii what size and thickness of metal did you use to make your frame ?
People don't realize this took 20 welding hours minimum.
Use a contact tip on the end of the welding gun, it will structurally make your welds safer since it would actually direct the shielding gas at your weld
if you don’t know what I mean or if you have a problem/reason for doing so lmk
Don’t some welders just not have gas tho?

Yes we are still working on the design it should be available on are website in a few months.

How did you get the correct angle for the front wheel mounts?
We used an electronic angle finder from Amazon! We will leave a link in the next video description.

Maybe you can give me size???
Can you race it? Is it wka legal?
We did not make this kart for racing. But you can rip it on tracks just don’t know how legal it is.

Pls don't grind structural welds. I had to learn it the hard way...
Not grinding the welds flat can cause stress risers, want to get them flat as much as possible.
how much did the whole thing cost?
Engine
Live axle
Wheels & tires
Is 800 dollars.
Frame the cheapest if weld it yourself
