I just purchase one of these machines, and be honest, I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box, o my God, too many parts, but after watching your video and explanations I feel relief and very confident. Thanks aurora, a new world is open for me and you helped a lot.
I was very happy to see how clearly you explained the assembly and after I purchase this laser I will return to watch your assembly. Now your product testing. This was genuinely wonderful. Not only do you show what the machine can do but you also show recommended settings, not something most makers openly share. You also push the limits by doing materials that fall outside of the "recommended" materials which now quite honestly answered my personal questions. I would be anxious to see if you ever do a video on the rotary by Ortur. I believe your straightforward approach to this video sets you apart from other influencers and the fact that you basically walk us through your video is appreciated. BRAVO young lady. You just got another subscriber.
This is very helpful. Every step. Assembly software. Different materials. Clear. Tremendously needed given the state of the manual. I'm looking froward to trying mine out. Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I have to tell you. This is about the 6th video of your's I've watched and I am always impressed. You do wonderful, straightforward and informative videos. Great channel.
Very good review, very well explained, and you have a good english, and thank your father or cameraman for making this video😀👍, keep up the good work, looking forward to your videos
Great video, great explained in detail with materials purchase...extraordinary video montage best video of how to out there ! keep it up you guy's are really talented!❤❤😊
Very good. I'm glad to see such a good video dealing specifically with the S2, since most of my questions have to do with the difference between this and other machines reviewed on YT as "Ortus Laser Master 2 Pro". Of course Ortur have a few, but they're all assembly videos or sales pitches (show me how great the results are without giving details).
y a t'il quelque chose a faire avec le bouton rouge avant de lancer un projet? is there something to do with the red button before launching a project?
Will it work if we lift the frame by 6 inches or so? i.e. if I was to engrave on a guitar case, I'll need to placed in such a way that it is high enough to engrave on it. is it possible?
Hey, would this work on stainless steel or aluminum using the LaserBond 100 spray on the surface first? I'm trying to engrave pet names to the metal part of the collars.
I'm curious, can you cut through clear acrylic with this? I ask because if the laser light isn't absorbed by the acrylic, it would just pass right through to what's underneath.
Yes, excellent presentation you talk a little fast but i know us older folk just have to deal you energetic young folk. I had question about cutting thin metal. I need linkage for my model train and would like to ask if have seen anything for that. Small parts and circles. I can send photos if that helps to help me. Dennis
hi Aurora, i am looking to replace my ender 3v2, what is in your opinion the best printer for sub 800 usd? but with the following parameters: btw the best candidate i have right now is the flsun super racer, i saw your review and was impressed how is it running so far? *easy to build *works perfectly out of the box *abl out of the box *reliable, as close to 0 downtime as possible, workhorse *known brand *readily available parts *can work with a wide variety of filaments thank in advance
Thanks for a great review. I have been thinking about getting a laser cutter to cut out flat plastic parts to improve the results from my cnc. Do you have any thoughts about a comparison to the Comgrow from two weeks ago? It seems that you are able to cut pretty good and would not benefit a lot to go to a cheep Chinese k40 (40 watt machines). Thanks again

Hi there I'm interested to know if you got around to trying the LF version of this laser?
Can this engrave brass sheets/materials?
y a t'il quelque chose a faire avec le bouton rouge avant de lancer un projet? is there something to do with the red button before launching a project?
This was a very good review. Have you done one on the Xtool D1?
Do u have a full test file gcode for grbl?
Does ortur offer a 10-watt laser? I'm really so close to buying this but I would really like a 10-watt laser for some heavier acrylic jobs
Great review!
Hello,
Which desktop laser engraver do you recommend for starting a small business. Would like to do etc tumblelers too.
Thx
Great video!

Good stuff
End of Jan you will reach 10k!
where can i get that test file
I love your videos. Did you have the chance also to do a video about the sculpfun s9? Can you try to cut 1/4 Foamboard and show the results? :)
can the machine be used to engrave rubber sheets?
Hey, would this work on stainless steel or aluminum using the LaserBond 100 spray on the surface first? I'm trying to engrave pet names to the metal part of the collars.
I'm curious, can you cut through clear acrylic with this? I ask because if the laser light isn't absorbed by the acrylic, it would just pass right through to what's underneath.
You can’t cut or engrave on any clear acrylic or glass. You need to paint it or use a black marker on the surface to engrave.
Interesting I'm a jeweler by trade that uses a 75jolie laser welder and we have to black mark silver because of it's highly reflective properties .

can this cut a 5mm axcylic?
Tengo un problema no puedo con las medidas para poder cortar la madera
Do u think this device can engrave on Aluminum tumblers drinkware
Like all other diode laser machines, they can only engrave on anodized, painted, and coated aluminum.
@@AuroraTech yes so the tumblers are coated in different colors.
How much time it took to cut solid plywood of 6.5mm
I can cut 6.5mm solid wood or 5mm plywood at F100 (100mm / min).
Is this the SF or LF?
This machine comes with 5W short focus

For cutting, I think the 10w laser module works better.
She went so quickly, I had to review the video 5 to 6 times. In the end, I had to find another video to explain ALL the parts and assembly in right.
cause you're to slow, nt she's to fast :D
Excellent review!
