We head for Scotland’s north coast and find our dream house on the way, a bargain buy on the NC500

- This week we’re on a long distance road trip along some of the best roads in Scotland. We start near Lochgilphead before heading north to Fort William then up to Inverness where we pick up the NC500 to our eventual destination. On the way we pass an actual highland castle that’s for sale… guess how much!!
Then we crack on up to Thurso for the boat to Orkney.

All our videos are hand made from 100% organic ingredients ;). Our content is mostly filmed on a GoPro 11 with a Rode fluffy microphone to keep the wind noise down, with occasional bits on an iPhone13. We also use a DJI Mini 3 drone which we're loving getting to grips with.
We make our own music using GarageBand and the videos are edited in iMovie.

@@scotlandonashoestring Ravelry is great for finding patterns. I would hazard a guess that you can search more patterns there than anywhere else in the world, and you can download most from the site. It has a detailed search engine, so you you can eliminate all the knit patterns and just search crochet, look at just certain categories (e.g., cardigans or pet sweaters/jumpers), narrow them down by wool weight, select just free patterns, etc. There are lots of other features, but it's worth checking out just for the patterns! It is definitely easier to use on a computer than a phone though.
@@scotlandonashoestring I just watched the Orkney Mainland video and it looks like you knit too, Becks! Definitely check out Ravelry. There are even more knitting patterns than crochet!
I think if you buy that house aka castle you’d have to change the name of the channel. And would it be worth it?
