These shoes actually lasted me 4 months, which was really suprising. I think they are really stylish and the flick is amazing. You can kick and spin your tricks however you want.
Size is important. You forget when you anchor your laces down, the tension on them makes them easier to rip. Going a half size down may have a more snug fit and have a longer life from the sidewalls blowing out because your foots actually helping keep the shoe snug on your foot, compared to shoes that "fit" or are "true to size" needing to be anchored down...
its because you got the regular ones, the superstar vulc adv has a massive insole with great impact. maybe try the superstar vulc adv next you might like em better
The sole on the intercept was great, and an awesome flick; but the sides got soggy after one day. I love Neen, but I felt like I was going to roll my ankle in them. That sole though... it was awesome.
Just got a pair of these (the skate Superstar ADVs) on sale for $55 CAD. It was the last pair in stock and half a size smaller than I usually wear, but felt fine, so I decided to try them out. I'm completely stoked I did! Flick is great, lots of impact protection for small gaps and 5 sets. These and the Janoskis are the only ones I'd size down 1/2 a size. 👍
I mean the biggest thing is, that these were never made with skating in mind much like the Nike Blazer which was a basketball shoe these were originally tennis shoes if I recall correctly so they wouldn't have thought to hide the laces the way other more modern skate shoe might. I personally like the arch support of the insole but agree they are really stiff and not overly comfy or cushiony though
Toss your choice of FP insole in there and they’re comfy. If you don’t care about how your skate shoes look (you shouldn’t, they’re going to get destroyed) make a suede patch over your flick spot and shoe goo over it a few times.
Been skating the regular set of superstars and they have lasted me 7 months still skating them now. Half the shoe is covered in duck tape and shoe goo though. Definitely favourite skate shoe.
@@DeaDAss-gi6vp full grain leather will last longer and skate like suede. The problem is, most skaters don’t know this and most companies don’t heavily market their full grain leather options. Hell, PJ had a failed DC shoe due to the much higher than average cost of his pro shoe. The fact there were two price points depending on which material you bought was such bullshit. It’s not like the suede version was substantially cheaper either.
You tested the last one series: eg4958. Yes, this is trash. Before model: C77124 was very confy. It has full length memory foam inside. ;) You can see in youtube, when somebody chop them.
Had these before Addiads skateboarding blew up , when I was in high school but brown and all leather toe cap super skates , I made them look real good they skated ok too good for ledges and flat ground
You should skate in Alma Mater shoes they are some imported performance shoes from Portugal they’re pretty cool they got a strap in the front of them Jlo’s husband wears them they launched a year ago
The og are where it’s at. The accel slim on the other hand, I put a good hole in in about two weeks. I started getting holes in my socks before I trashed them though lol
Been skating a pair now for 3 months, ollie hole came kinda ez after 6-7 weeks, but I patched it up. It's a real durable shoe, tread still stands there. I personally like the og ones better, they have more padding for some reason
Five years ago, I bought a pair of Superstars which had "Skateboarding" written on the tongue. They had a really squishy midsole! They weren't the Bounce ones though. Actually the insole and midsole was one piece of rubber which could be removed and it was about 3/4 of an inch thick under the heel and 1/4 inch under the toe. All the new Superstars (at least in my city) have a really hard midsole! No padding at all! And those new recycled plastic insoles have no cushioning either! Even the outsole on the new ones seem worse.
Bring the review of the Nike SB Charge Canvas please, I'm looking to get one of these but I don't know if they are good for beginners and medium skaters
Can you try the "Nike Sb AIRFORCE 2" ?? Or try the "adidas super star vulc adv" which is a more skateboarding designed version of the adidas you skated in the video
The skate version is durable af for kickflips and heels, it gets an ollie hole quick but the tread stays forever
True
I'm skating a very old pair of the non skate version. I like it
They are the skate version you can tell by the tongue
ciaran kerrigan what’s the skate version I can only find the original superstars

Ah. Back in the day, we called this particular Adidas model (non-Skate in those days) classic "Shell Heads." Nothing more, nada menos.
This is such a good video to start off finals week
I got these on Amazon for $38. My favorite skate shoe so far.
Super glue will do change cover the issue with the laces and stripes.
Was it the adv
found a pair of these @ goodwill for 15 last year cheapest ive ever paid for skateshoes🙏
I’m definitely getting a pair the only reason I get new shoes is because the front of my shoe blows out and the tread blows out too
Review the DC Kalis. They’re a sick vulc shoe.
So, you want Mr. Flores to review the Kalis Vulc. Much different shoe than the Kalis.
dude you are repping the adidas gang respect for that!
if you're not a lace ripper then these shoes will last, these shoes last me almost 3x as long as any other shoes because of the huge toe cap.
For real man we don´t deserve your videos. The editing is so so good.

Emericas with the G6 sole. Only option is the Spanky right now, but you should see what you think. You missed out on the Reynolds.

Try the adidas matchcourts my personal favorite 👌🏽
If u superglue them when new they last! Try Stan Smith OG non skate version.
I was just about to go skating but I had to watch this
these like the most comfortable shoes , flick and board could be better but they are great
Hey man I love your vids and I hope I can get an opinion on what shoes you would pick that will last the longest. Thank you 🙏
The etnies marana michelin is the longest lasting shoe I've ever skated
christian flores got the cleanest sfx in skateboarding
Addidas is mo longer selling to local skate shops. At least in my area. So buy shoes that are at local shops and support local
Try "5ten" Sleuth DLX or Freerider. Probably the grippiest shoes u ever try.
If you like stiff shoes the dc lynx ogs will last with the stiffness and last a while
Thank you so much for your reviews even though you dont get paid.
Maybe I’m weird these are my favorite skate show ever
Nike SB Gato, you should skate those, I think they look really cool
