    Check out the links in the description, I always include links to the installed parts and I include links to many items of my kit. I get lots of messages about part numbers and where I purchased something - it's always in the description!

    Justin to clear up the difference in plastic adapters that come with the kit, if you look on the back you will see small letters on them and they correspond to the tooth number. 23 tooth has K, S and J stamped on it for KO, Sanwa, JR. 24 tooth has H for Hitec. 25 tooth has F for Futaba. It doesn't matter what brand it is i just wanted to add what the letters corresponded with, whats important is knowing what the spline count of your new servo is.

    The brand is Feetech FT5330M, and they're all metal servos.. at least the 35KG is.. I doubt it's 35kg, and they're kinda slow, but still better than most hobby RTR's, I put a Reef's 299LP in my Arrma Senton 3S, it's fast! :)

    Hi i hope you see this comment. I have a big rock v3 and it has a stock 23 tooth servo. When i get this cheap red 25kg amazon servo is it 25 tooth? Is that why the hot racing horn in nesecarry? Justy trying to understand. Tysm either wayt.

    • @kylegeldmaker
      @kylegeldmaker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Basically yes, if you don't drop in a servo with the correct spline count then you'll need to replace both components. I wasnt able to find any drop in replacements for the Spektrum (S651 I believe) so I picked up a whole hit racing assembly. Its worked ever since I installed it without any issues. I keep meaning to make a video replacing the stock steering rack but it's never down for repair 😁

    • @kylegeldmaker

    Nice vid. I have the 25kg servo on my desk. Waiting on a 25T saver to come in stock. I see yours is 270 degree. Did you have to flip the steer button for left/right? I'm sure you know, but for those that don't make sure you set end points.

    • @kylegeldmaker
      @kylegeldmaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hmm, now you have me intrigued lol. I purchased a 180 degree servo, infact I just double checked the order. I'm going to double check the servo 😎. But to answer your question directly, I didn't have to reverse the steering and I definitely did reset the end points.

  • @oloap72

    Hi, can you link the name of the servo horn? The new big rock and granite have horn with 23t instead 25, i am looking fo the old v2 horn (code 25T - Ar340151) but is difficoult find it

    • @kylegeldmaker
      @kylegeldmaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The one I used is the Hot Racing horn (there's a link in the description). The main reason I did that is basically because the issue you're having. There's way more 25t servos and horn available. Swapping to a 25kg 25t servo really opens up the options.

    Hi friend, I use arrma senton 3s v3 blx. Need to replace new servo. Is there any servo that fit with original 23t servo horn? Maybe around 10-15kg metal servo digital

    • @kylegeldmaker
      @kylegeldmaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, there's some Spektrum models available that are 23t. They cost a little more for less power, but if you don't want to replace the servo saver I think that's the most economical choice.

    • @micikho1
      @micikho1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @kylegeldmaker
      @kylegeldmaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@micikho1 you might have to play around with some custom mounting positions to eliminate the servo saver but it's probably durable enough for a race condition. I would not use that for bashing or off-road stuff.

    The Hot racing one may be iffy. I’ve heard the basic Traxxas plastic one works and same for Kimbrough savers. You can see a bunch on servocity website as well.
    My brand new big rock servo got stuck turning it Right only and now I have to take it apart and see if the servo saver is dead or if the threads just jumped to the right.
