    I just got back from testing out the 7” Nessie in an urban park pond. I was fishing with a 7’9” crankbait rod and a 7:1 reel spooled with 12lb test. Very short twitches with the reel, no rod movement and the bait looked and performed surprisingly well… 7-8 twitches with the reel, stop, 7-8 twitches, stop seemed to be the best retrieve for the 7”. I’ll be trying the 9” soon. Probably the same but with slightly harder twitches. 🎣

      @@SMC4117 hey, after this video I've tried the bigger one and had much better success and enjoyed using it and the action. That 5" one I'm going to test out adding to or modifying it for a usable action, and make a video of that.

      @@SMC4117 the larger one required less movement to get action, and get slow glides, and very little rod tip twitches to chop it back aggressively. Check out the Chad Shad video I made last,
