I'm from Idaho and shoot a lot, most hunters have no idea whats all involved in doing what you are doing they get distance know about spin drift, windage but only shoot about 10 to20 rounds a year and think if they can hit a pie plate at 100 yds with a 2 or 3 inch group theyre good to go.they are for the most part for deer, elk, bear etc. where most wont have to shoot over 200 yds ever in theyre lifetime.I used to shoot out to a mile on paper nowadays i stay within about 750yds bc that's my comfort zone in good conditions, lots less in windy conditions especially in a hunting situations as I dont want to risk wounding animals . I am impressed with your shooting ability.
Shooting- 100% Editing-100% What’s the most astonishing is your responding to every single comment, shows you really care and are sharing genuinely, I appreciate that. Thank you for sharing your video’s since I’ve subbed I’ve really enjoyed watching!
Thanks pal, ye as far as i know i have responded to every comment i get as i feel like its rude not to even if some of them are not just nice comments 😂
I like how you have a great understanding and knowledge of the species, knowing which are protected and those that are pests, not just shooting anything 👍
Found your channel by accident Love the channel love the content Every chance i get i go back and watch your earlier posts Great shooting great doping the wind Wish you all the best and hope to catch up on all your videos Thanks for sharing 👍
@@simon6ppc246 I've shot break barrel airguns thousands of times and have some pretty lucky shots, but have never shot a PCP. Your consistency is excellent.
Some astounding shooting skills, I am glad you shared this. I live on 100 acres in Australia and run sheep. Here, the predators are crows (which will attack the eyes of new born lambs, killing them) and wild dogs. Wild pigs too. Also there are Wedge Tailed Eagles (6 foot wingspan), they are a threat to the lambs, but they are protected so we must leave them alone. The eagles have taken our chickens & ducks before, but never a lamb (touch wood!). I appreciate the skills you have, and hope one day to shoot as well as you do.
Thanks a lot pal, ye we have lots of protected birds and animals to which also cause big problems but i can only shoot the ones which i am licenced to, but we do kind of ok over here.
Great shooting, especially as you were making allowances with the scope for wind & distance. Especially pleased you knocked over 'greedy' a few times - pan fried pigeon breast is even more tasty when you've shot it yourself! Lovely pic of your pupper Jack, too.
Amazing how accurate these rifles are. I have a cheap gamo break barrel 177 caliber and am lucky to hit a two liter bottle at 30 yards. 😆😆😂😂🤣🤣 Liked your VIDEO very entertaining.
I’ve been watching quite a few of your excellent shooting videos since discovering and subscribing to your channel a few days ago. In my younger days, (here in Australia) l was a professional shooter & trapper. Depending on what l was contracted to hunt and for bounty shooting, l too had to take some very long shots, mainly due to lack of appropriate natural cover. Seeing you use range finders and also your phone apps, technology sure has went ahead in leaps and bounds and has made for more ethical kills and for the professional shooter a more productive and profitable business. Back in the early 70’s when l first started, l had to learn very quickly how to judge distance and how to “read the wind” effectively. I had a lot of misses but with plenty of practice, trial and error, l soon become more proficient and my profit margin went up accordingly. Watching you, brings back many good memories of my time in this “lonely profession”. 😊 You are a marksman of which, many will strive to aspire to, your shooting prowess and your etiquette towards a humane kill, is to be admired by all, who wish to emulate and follow in your footsteps. You have my utmost respect and admiration. You have set the standard, for many others to follow. Keep up the good work. Don’t ever change your choice of music, it’s very soothing, relaxing and enchanting. Please let me who plays this beautiful music and what the name of the composer is and possibly where l can buy it. Thanks in advance. Brian from Australia. Cheers mate. 😊👍👍🇦🇺🦘🦘
Thanks ever so much Brian, ye i started using the modern approach with range finders and Apps on my phone may be 10 years ago pal, like you for a good 20 years before that i to just used to hold over and guess the wind with my Sako 6ppc and a 22.50, looking back on the day i still did some 300 to 400 yard hits but as you say when i did hit them i was very shocked, now with what i use on good days i can honestly dial into a match box at 500 yard with a first shot hit, to be honest even now it still shocks me what i can do but its kind of getting like the norm to do it and the videos prove i am not lying, stay safe my friend and hope to hear from you again soon.
@@simon6ppc246 Hi Simon. Its always my pleasure to give credit where it is due and you are most definitely, one very deserving recipient. 👍👍 As you are obviously well aware, “tailoring a load” to suit each and every firearm is a prerequisite to achieve the utmost accuracy possible. I know of many shooters who haven’t yet grasped this very important aspect of their shooting regime. Until they do, they will never achieve their objective of extreme accuracy and repetitiveness. What is the name of the music and composer that is played in your videos? Thanks in advance. 😊👍👍🇦🇺🦘🦘
Hi Simon, Thanks for posting. I love watching your shooting. I haven't got FAC. The Woodpigeon head shot with at least two mil dot hold over was fantastic and shot of the day, too! Love to Jack, also. Must be great, out in the middle of nowhere. Your rifle in front of you, finger on the trigger, and Jack by your side. Best wishes, Simon. Ian.
Id love to watch your way as pest control.and protectingfarm.n most specially a proper way of safety proceedure to operate a gun or an airgun. Firmly aiming and adjustment of the scoop every distances you have it. I Really love it.keep it up n may god bless you always.
Nice bit of airgunning Simon 🙂, I used to do a lot as a teenager, but back then it was only springers! I had a Mod 50 Original in .22. I used to get paid 50p for my pigeons by the farmer, then I would sell them to a maggot farmer for another 50p! I used to earn more shooting than when I was an apprentice lol. Mind you I earned it, I was shooting open iron sights. Keep up the great TH-cam posts you are putting up, makes me a little home sick.

I went to war with a Wood Chuck, It would always stay our father then my Pellet Gun could effectively Put it down, So I get out my 6.5 Creedmore but it was Brand New I shot it twice then decided that was too much Fire power so for Fathers Day my Children gave me Gift cards to the Bass Pro Shop down by a Construction Site our Company has going so I thought I am going to by a 17HMR Rifle which is basically a Rimfire 22 but with a longer Case and smaller Bullet or Projectile, But that thing shoots so Flat it’s amazing at 200 Yds. It only drops a 1/2 Inch. So Mr. Wood Chuck has Now Retired.
Certain groups don't realize how much damage is caused by invasive species. Here in Georgia and in Texas, feral hogs cause billions of dollars in crop damage. The only way to take them out is with large capacity magazines and good aim. Poison is a very bad idea because then people can be harmed as well.
