Late Summer Vermin Control With A 223 Sako Including 7 Little Guests.

- Hi every one, here in the UK Crows and Magpies can cause devastating damage to the rare nesting birds we have on our moors for example Curlews, lapwings meadow pipits and many many more, they also predate on the song bird population, also around lambing time the crows will peck out the eyes of the new born lambs while they are vulnerable just after birth and even at times while the Ewe is giving birth crows will peck out the eyes and tongues of a lamb so as a pest controller our laws let us control them all year round, here i am using a 223 rifle as the crows and magpies can wise up avoiding traps and keeping out of range of air rifles and shotguns at times, Any disbelievers please feel free to google and see the damage for your self. cheers

Made my Sunday that did, nice double on the maggies.
Thanks pal.
even happier the dog is still with you. i caught the sparkle in his eye!
Thanks Mark.
So happy that you're back. Hope you and your family are keeping well. Stay safe. Cheers!
Thanks Rangdajied, ye were all fine and dandy my friend..
I think the one think I like about your videos is the respect you have for wildlife, there’s a time and a place.
Take Care Stay Safe Everyone Regards Dave 👍😎🏴
Thanks a lot DR you are 100% right pal.
Shooting like that doesn’t need a commentary Si. Brilliant!
Thanks Edward...
The fox pups are adorable! Shows why we protect our animals the way we do. Keep up the good work
Thanks Mack..
That's it! Finally, the long-awaited double kill. Perfect job, Simon. Congrats.
Thanks Kenan it was ok i suppose lol..
Personally I don't like double shots like that, you can't guarantee bullet performance, indeed with frangible varmint bullets you only get fragments. The second kill was not very good, and even that was lucky. In a group I try to shoot the furthest to avoid causing injuries with random fragments.
Congratulations on your double maggie’s.
It was a pleasure to watch.
Stay well
Ash from Scotland 🏴
Cheers Ash.
Thumbs up, man... always nice to watch a pro acting man-dog-team.
Cheers pal.
Your videos feel like mini vacations, genuinely enjoyable. Gotta love Jack, dogs are proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. Thank you for posting!
Thanks a lot pal
“God” is just “Dog” spelt backwards…..
So, magpies and crows are not a proove that god loves you? I think the only pest on this planet are humans.
In my eyes he is a killer taking lives.
@@wolfscoat6207 well, you're an insignificant desiccated turd and no one cares what you think.

That 223 is devastating news for the corvid around your area.
Remember in my youth how magpies was laughing at me just out of reach from my 22wmr. But then I got myself a 6,5x55 swede...
Lovely to see the foxcubs. Pity that these small cubs inevitably will become a big problem.
Thanks for this brilliant video sir!

Two for the price of one, can't beat that for efficiency, great to see Jack enjoying himself, lovely bit with the cubs

Ye thanks Ian..
Brilliant as ever. (Noticed the glint in the lovely Lab's eye 😉👍)
Lol cheers Brodie
😁👍
Awesome shooting as always. You lying in the grass on the moors reminds me how much I miss England (not the rain, though :) Here in the states, countryside of Connecticut, if you go outside and lie in the grass you're only asking to be covered in deer ticks that can't wait to give you a debilitating disease. If it's not deer ticks it's one of several dozen other nasty things that can't wait to take a chunk out of you :) Keep up the good work and remind us of better times.
Thanks a lot Vince, funny really i have spent all my life lying in grass and such yet never had a tick on me, well not yet any way lol.
Love watching your videos especially seeing you lovely lad spotting for you ;)

Undoubtedly one of the best, vermin control/sniper content on TH-cam. Combo center fire n airpower. Love it. I run a .338 lupua for ground hogs, so not much scope movement. I just use the mils system n a BC calculator
Thanks a lot Shane very much appreciated my friend..
That Spotter of yours needs a Spotting Scope, a Kestrel and you both need a PRR (Personal Role Radio)
Doggo doing a smashing job a do!
