Coyotes and bobcats. Have actually seen them, when I did security, on those residential areas that skirt the city limits. Pack of coyotes nearly cleared all the domestic pets in a complex I worked at, until residents finally got past their squeamishness and let animal control do what had to be done. Put down about 3 of the largest ones and the rest of the pack seemed to get the message and moved on.

From Florida here. These coyotes seem on the small size. The ones I see down here at least to me seem twice as big. I won't lie I hate seeing the bobcats killed , but as someone who has only seen one wild bobcat in 36 years of living I won't judge someone in another state. Well done on the video by the way. Stay safe out there.
I'll chime in, if only to say He deserves a capitol "G," or any other Predicate on all counts. He does after all, own my next breath! But I do love the sound of an air powered slug hitting home! I hate to see them suffer if not instantly dropped though, and I kill them, and other predators/prey myself. Love my Huben K1 in .25, Korean Sumatra .25, and Hercules .357!
Close your eyes for a minute. Now imagine walking in the middle of the night after all gun hunting is ban, then all of the sudden the wolf pack stalking you signals kill them. Theres no different except the pain on you end will be much worse than taking a bullet.
3:24 this one was brutal. I understand fully that this is used to maintain full capacity, but in a split second the shoulder blade/arm bone matter completely shattered and you can see that the arm is practically holding on by a single thread of flesh. In that split second that coyote must’ve been mortified, in shock, and confused,- good thing it was quick though, I doubt it could feel the actual pain due to the shock but still. Curiosity definitely does kill the cat, though in this case, the coyote.
I think 6:25 is even more brutal. The bullet burst open what was essentially a gaping hole in the animal's chest and blood gushed out. The animal's mouth opened a bit, its teeth clenched in pain but it made no sound and its face contorted in mortal horror almost like a human that just got sucker-punched. It also shuddered as it went down bleeding.
@@gabodorante9958 that's truly sad. Imagine if a giant creature did this to humans. I understand its a coyote and it kills chickens and dogs but still.. it's sad.
I'm a hunter so I completely understand controlling coyote populations. Bobcats on the other hand are nowhere near as plentiful and destructive as coyotes so why kill so many of them?
Yeah why the hell kill Bobcats. They will be extinct one day at this rate. Killing Bobcats should be a Jailable Offence. Also think about the poor old Coyote. They have been here a Lot Longer than humans and have their place in nature. Share the food with them and Leave Them Alone. Will also end up Extinct at this rate of kill.
@@nightcrew3115 Hey well have the chickens in a large free-range enclosure so they are protected from all predators. Still, the Coyotes were here first well before landowners came in and claimed their land for livestock. Make room for all the animals on earth.
The deaths of the bobcats are the saddest. Beautiful cats. (Btw, I live in England, so it’s not my ‘world’ so to speak. I respect that hunting is a big thing in America where a balance is kept. I know that coyotes are considered a pest, I just don’t know enough about the bobcats. They’re just beautiful looking animals). x
Come on over, collect a few live specimens, bring them back to England and turn those beautiful bobcats loose to breed like feral cats. Females produce two litters a year, average of four kittens, the female kittens mature enough to breed the following year. In a few years you'll understand better why they are getting hunted in large numbers over here. They are the feline version of the coyote. Just ask the people who keep sheep. And, if you are interested, we can give you some coyotes as well. They will reduce your fox population in England. Guaranteed.
Bobcats are beautiful predators, it is sad to see them being hunted but by nature it's no less cruel than their predatory instincts. We have our good reasons and to the hunters it's best to respect them with quick kills.
crazy how the coyotes react to regular shouting and calls from a human voice, the way they perk up and stop reminds me of domesticated behavior even though they're wild animals. Edit: again to reiterate these are WILD ANIMALS, I just find their response interesting. I'm fully aware of the damage they can cause.
I think since they're the predators they can afford to stop and look unlike deers for example who has to run immediately after hearing something suspicious. Its in their DNA that they're somewhere on top of the foodchain so they are not afraid. I think

I'm a hunter so I completely understand controlling coyote populations. Bobcats on the other hand are nowhere near as plentiful and destructive as coyotes so why kill so many of them?
@Val Shealey , humans kill livestock to, no?
Yeah why the hell kill Bobcats. They will be extinct one day at this rate. Killing Bobcats should be a Jailable Offence. Also think about the poor old Coyote. They have been here a Lot Longer than humans and have their place in nature. Share the food with them and Leave Them Alone. Will also end up Extinct at this rate of kill.

Tell that to the landowners raising chickens in our area. Everything is relative.

They’re just beautiful looking animals). x
Yeh and the foxes too. Bummed out about that
Come on over, collect a few live specimens, bring them back to England and turn those beautiful bobcats loose to breed like feral cats.
Guaranteed.
Know this about bobcats. Either you hunt them. Or they hunt you. And trust me. You'd rather be the hunter with them.
@@starwarsfan5001 lol bobcats don't hunt people
Bobcats are beautiful predators, it is sad to see them being hunted but by nature it's no less cruel than their predatory instincts. We have our good reasons and to the hunters it's best to respect them with quick kills.

don’t get attached to them they suck
it's not the same even if it seems like it, they turn to look because they are suspicious of us.
I think since they're the predators they can afford to stop and look unlike deers for example who has to run immediately after hearing something suspicious. Its in their DNA that they're somewhere on top of the foodchain so they are not afraid.

I really do not enjoy watching these kinds of videos, but I live in Arizona. A state that has pretty significate issues with certain wild predators that are causing a negative impact on our state's ecosystem. So I get it. So far all the kills in this video that I have watched seem to be very clean. I have never and will never feel anything negative towards a human hunter. Just as long as they are not breaking the law.
Your judge is poor, Making Law your only source of defining what is right or wrong, let me enlight you, Law is subjective, What is considered lawful in one country may be unlawful in another. let me ask you something, Would you approve the scene of a 2 young couples Having sex in public ? No, If i asked why. you will say according to your logic, (thats the law)!, But did you know that in Mexican city of Guadalajara, Public sex is lawful !! .. did you, So, my advice to you buddy, use your common sense, Check your heart, and if it says, Bradimus, i think that matter is fine.. then proceed, besides law and other stuffs i mean ^_^, and i dont mean that you are wrong and this channel is wrong in that issue, Predators need to be dealt with sometimes, As long as harm is produced by them... these things kill pets and livestock so dont feel bad. there are plenty of them.
Charles Ruth did an extensive study on the 78,000-acre Savannah River Site to show this. Of 70 collared fawns that were killed, 49 of them died within the first three weeks of birth. The other 21 died between week four and week nine, with fewer deaths each consecutive week. The point: Coyotes are having the greatest effects on young fawns. And they kill enough of those fawns to send shockwaves through entire deer populations. These are lasting effects.

Bobcats are my fav animals, but even I know that an overly populated species can have ill effects on an ecosystem. My dad found that out the hard way when we had regular bobcat visitors in our back yard staring at our chickens and this was in CT. Eventually, they knew my dad would mess up and they'd get a tasty reward. 8 chickens gone in 1 night when he left the chicken run door open.
Bobcats in ct are pretty prevalent
Bobcats eating your Dad's chickens is not an example of a predator disrupting an ecosystem. That is simply an animal being directly impacted by human behavior.
