Can’t wait to take a detour off I-35 on my next trip from Austin Texas to Hayward WI and visit your store. Kris (?) from Georgetown, please consider joining the Austin Stitchery Guild, we have a satellite group that meets at the Georgetown library every month. Lots of enabling and great group of stitchers.
I will pass this message on the Chris! If you ever get a chance, stop in at Amish Furniture of Austin and say HI to her! She and her husband own that gorgeous furniture store!
Kuddos to you ladies for 1) filming in front of a live audience 2) filming in the heat (did enjoy the angel wings flapping in the wind) ... some amazing finishes, thanks for sharing !
Loved this vide!!! , I have never laughed so hard I had tears running down my face!!!! Shelly your Angel wings were so cute!!!! Say hi to Shannon for me👋!! So nice meeting Chris the third Musketeer!! You two are the best!! Happy stitching, hugs, Lynn
What a great video! It was so nice to see Morgan. I met her at stitch con this year along with all you ladies. Morgan looks so much like her Mom!!!!! Beautiful ladies!! Everyone have a wonderful week.
Again with the laughing! Love it! I also love seeing all the finished items by your finisher....they were fabulous. Will miss you in the beginning of August, but know that there is noting like a vaca!
Sitting listening and l was freezing because of the aircons running. Burst out laughing as its winter here in South Africa. So l had first go and add another top for the chill l am feeling through sound.
So glad the head didn't keep you down! Thanks for sharing so those of us who couldn't be there could be inspired and laugh along with you. Treats and treasures!!
Shelley, I knew you were an angel from the moment I met you. You were just hiding your wings, glad we got to see them. You ladies were troopers to do this video under the circumstances. Love seeing your stitches.
Ugh, heat and humidity! Give me sweater weather any day! I’m sure you all managed to have a great time anyway. I find it interesting your naughty glasses are multiplying…lol.
Such talent! You made me laugh. Way to be authentic! I always roll my eyes when I see flosstubers all made up and perfectly coiffed. I feel for you, though. I’d have turned into a puddle on the floor. People would have said I sounded like the Wicked Witch as I went down….’I’m melting’…would have been my last words. Anyhow, I’m pretty sure the watch band info came from me in the first place. I used to wear mine all the time and often got questions. They are so darn cute. Yours is the only other one I’ve seen. I’ve become rather attached to my magnetic one now-a-days. Maybe in the fall I’ll go back. Hope you’ve cooled off by now! Pam
I’m dying, this is hilarious. I’m totally impressed that you managed to get a video filmed in that heat. I don’t think I could be pleasant enough to pull it off. LOL
You ladies are a Hoot!! I don't think it was the "Kool aid" you were sipping to stay cool! Always good to see you and your stitchy progress. Shelly, your "Angel wings" were so natural and the clips to hold the wings in place were great. Those clips are worth their purchase price for so many things besides quilting. And Shelly, you were in a church so it was only proper you had angel wings. My quilt group has a planned retreat at that church in August but I am not attending this first time we are using this building due to not having air conditioning, do the fans keep things so you are not sweating buckets and can sleep at night?
Another great video! I think you are looking at the “M”’s on the 10,000 Lakes piece from your first anniversary upside down-those are “W”’s for Welcome!😊
Great job ladies. Love Shelley’s hairdo!!! Just cracked me up. Hopefully the temps will start coming down and you can put your wonder hair clips away. 🤣🤣🤣 I look forward to your videos all the time. Never a dull moment. Enjoy vacation and Justine, happy anniversary!!!!!
Wish I could have joined in the fun Thank You for sharing. Nice to meet you Chris. Oh Shelli wonder clips who’d have thought to use them that way it will be a fad now. 😂
Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary. Wish I could have been there to celebrate with you. Thanks for sharing your weekend with us.love the 10,00 lakes chart, beautiful.
Loved the episode as usual! You both always make me laugh and want to be there. Although based on how hot you looked I’m glad I went to the one in April!
Justine, thank you for kindness and caring! Thank you for special ordering Rose Quaker: I am on the second motif and having fun with it. I also love the anniversary Welcome pattern along with the Thousand Lakes. Both are calling my name, even though I vowed to ease up on the haul!
Omg I love the wonder clip hair clips hahaha. I've been watching you guys for a while now and I'm just up north in Oak Grove, MN so I need to take a day and come down to see you guys. You are a hoot and just make me laugh every time I watch you.

I had a great time on Friday, sorry I wasn’t there on Saturday to sweat along with you! Thanks for showing all the finished items! Can’t wait to come to the next 24 hours weekend!
Thank you Ladies for a super funtastic time! I laughed so much and so hard thru this that I ended up frogging 3/4 of what I had stitched. It was well worth every frogged stitch!! Love your hair clips Shelli! It was great to finally meet the 3rd Musketeer. Hi Chris! Congrats on your 1 year shop anniversary Justine and Happy Anniversary next month as well (yes, he is VERY lucky)!!
You all cracked me up!😂 Shelly I noticed your hair clips right away and I wondered, "are those wonder clips?" You know you're a true stitcher when you put wonder clips in your hair!!! 😄 I loved your angel wings and 5-head comments. You two are a hoot to watch. Can't wait to come visit you...someday. And yes, Shelly...tell Justine to please speak up. Justine, you have such a soft voice, sometimes it's hard to hear you.....but I love you both.
Another great video Justine and Shelly. Loved seeing your hair clips Shelly. We use what we have in a pinch right? Everyone has such beautiful stitching and finishing. Just Wow! I hope to be that good when I get to some finishing for my projects. I have ideas but keep putting off getting them done, because I don't want to mess up what I worked so hard on.
You ladies make me laugh so much 😆 🤣 😂 beautiful finishes and stitching girls ❤ the mill hill birds 🐦 look gorgeous ❤ happy anniversary ❤ can't wait to receive mine soon ❤ cheers girls
So fun to watch! We had 103 Saturday, 85 yesterday and 60’s today in Lincoln, Nebraska. The 10,000 Lake piece…my first thought was what a beautiful quilt! I really need to get up there! That witch boot, do you know what pattern that is? Still available? Thank you and Congratulations!!!!
Love you ladies! I would love to know the pattern/designer of the little Wicked banner. It’s in the middle of the 2nd table, near the front of the table, it’s hanging from a large key. Understand if you don’t know, but thought it was worth asking!
Justine is going to try to put it on the front page of the Website, but if you click on Patterns and then Hands on Design, it will be on page 2 of that section, down at the bottom. Please send and email to welcomestitchery@bevcomm.net if you continue to have issues.
@@welcomestitchery4934 I found it and ordered the pattern. But I couldn't find the kit. I love your flosstube. You both are hilarious abd and I always click on your channel ASAP. I wish I lived closer because I want to stitch with you ladies. So fun. I live in Missouri.
Hello Lovely Ladies! You guys are such real genuine relaxed relatable folk to watch! When you get an opportunity ( no rush) I have a ?Quick Question? - I’m a gal stitching in the world of 28count DMC Monaco - and would love to try 28 count linen. I have given a try on a darker charcoal 28 count linen - but having trouble and wonder this……---> Is there such thing as a ‘right’ side and a ‘wrong’ side when it comes to these linen fabrics? Because - interestingly - I turned over the piece of 28 linen I was working on - and then I magically was able to see enough/ comprehend enough to figure it out….. Thanks so much🌸 Marilynn in Ontario🇨🇦
OK...I have been thinking about this for a couple of days. I am no expert, but to my knowledge MOST fabrics can be stitched from either side. Some fabrics are printed, so they are noticeably different on front and back. When stitching on dark fabrics, try placing a blank piece of printer paper on your table or lap. Sometimes that makes the holes show up better.
Thanks 🌸! for your time and thoughtful response on this….I’ll keep on trying and will definitely try your idea of a white piece of paper underneath - when working on darker linen…..also am giving the sewing method some practice as well…..to help speed up my stitching progress …..or else I’m going to need about 3 lifetimes to stitch all my WIPS😜!
Do y’all stitch from paper patterns or something like pattern keeper. I am trying to decide on whether or not to switch to pattern keeper. What are your views?
I stitch primarily from paper patterns. I make "working copies" so I can highlight as I go. I do have Pattern Keeper, but I only use it for VERY big projects like Miribilias or HAEDs. Pattern Keeper is very picky about the type of PDF it will accept, in my opinion. I have not been able to take a picture of a paper pattern and upload it to Pattern Keeper. When Pattern Keeper works, it's GREAT. But I find it lacking in a lot of areas. (Shelly)
Shelly, who does rose Quaker and also the stars hollow? I love watching your shows . I have started at the beginning and am currently on 16. Shannon is delightful and you are all VERY fun.🪡
Hi, Jan! Rose Quaker was called for August WIPGO, so you'll be seeing that on our channel again soon. It is designed by Stickideen von der Wiehenburg. Justine carries it in her shop!
