Yesterday was THE best stitching day I’ve had in a long time!! Had a blast meeting you both, visiting the shop, purchasing some lovely fabric and charts, and meeting so many wonderful stitchers at Pattons! I’ll be counting the days til I visit again! Dino’s Pizza was amazing!

Oh, my I had to stop and tell how thrilled I was to have my home state of KS stitched first AND from the personal needle of the one and only Justine herself! What an honor 😊. By the way, Kansas Day is coming up soon (January 29th for the uneducated😉) and I know you will want to lift a glass in honor of the day. Now, back to the regularly scheduled program. That's a great little series. I stitched up Hawaii and Alaska as ornaments for my kids this year as a remembrance of their graduation trips.😁

You girls are great! As a Wisconsin girl, and lifelong Packers fan, I will be a good sport and give you a pass about stitching the Wisconsin pillow in green and gold BECAUSE you ARE stitching the Wisconsin pillow! If the Vikings go to the Super Bowl I will be cheering them on because my Dad was born in Duluth and his favorite games were always Green Bay vs. Minnesota. And also because we are neighbors. 😊 I would love to see a wip parade!

I'm with the majority- I love a good WIP parade. Some parades I last 5 minutes or so before something makes me disappear- mannerisms or mouth noise (of the not talking variety), or multiple projects that are not my jam- I'm watching to be enabled, after all lol! & you gals are a laugh & a half- I'd never abandon you! 😜 Shelley, I don't know if someone pointed out- the sampler that you finished the border & couldn't figure up or down- there's a berry missing... 😉
Good eye! That last berry (or 2?) is a specialty stitch, so I am holding off on that until the end. Thanks for letting me know, though!

I have thought about it off & on since last year but my mind/brain/thought processes would not do well with the enormous amount of business I see at the stitching table groups. I'm impressed, people bring along a lot of stuff! 😁 I would certainly enjoy meeting a lot of wonderful people!

Justine - the Wisconsin pattern must immediately be frogged and changed to Green and Gold! 😂 As much as I love Prince, I’m hoping that is not your new start on Super Bowl Sunday 😉😁. Funny story - I bought my husband a hat for Christmas of a band we both enjoy ( They Might Be Giants) and it was purple and yellow 😮 He immediately got comments about being a Vikings fan. We retired the hat 😅 Oh, I kid you ladies. Hope your team finally has some glory! Being a lifelong Packers fan, I know the the feeling of long, cold dry spells. Thanks for sharing! I am very honored to have a Great Great Granddaughter and her name is Emersyn. I have stitched her name for her parents and now I am stitching Emmy for her Grandma, my Grand daughter. She is 5 months old and I get to see her the end of this month.

You asked, so I will give the unpopular answer: I dread WIP parades. They are too often very, very long, and very, very overwhelming. Yesterday, I watched a Flosstube that was 2 hrs-ish and it took me all day to get through it. Ditto for another one this morning. (I was so glad to see your smiling faces and see you were at a reasonable 47 minutes.) I love you and all the other ladies, but really?! Who has time? And I am retired! Honestly, it is like inviting in company and they never go home. No matter how much you enjoy their company, enough is enough. I love seeing the completions, the progress, and even the new starts! But hearing endless, "I love this! Why haven't I stitched it?" over and over is no fun. (Sometimes I turn off the volume, and sometimes I fast forward through. But if I want to stitch and watch, after awhile it sucks the joy out of flosstube and stitching.) You asked! Would be a treasure visit to see you both someday. Have a good couple of weeks!
Then I beg you to just please skip the WIP parade that we are likely going to do, based on current votes. I don't want you to get sick of us!!
