I love lambics, especially their framboise, but let's pull up a little short of calling Lindemann's "quality".
I was worried about the direction this channel was taking until he said that he got it from Chadwick's wine cellar.
he must have drank lambic beer before, most people do not enjoy them at all on first try. it basically smells like it's gone bad and lot of the time, it tastes like that too, compared to normal beer

@@squiremuldoon5462 nah, "normal" beer was more of a porridge, there was kveik i suppose, but this is special type of beer very specific to brussels, with specific manufacturing process (aged hops and stuff)
yeast is generally not a problem, if you can make wine, you should be able to make beer, hell, scratch that, if you can make bread, you can make beer
@@bmljenny i understand the upsetting part of it, but they probably had plenty experience with people trying to return the product, or complaining or not giving a tip, so it's better for them to warn a person just in case, than dealing with unhappy customer

This man deserves way more credit and attention for these videos. To be honest I can't tell if the point is to make me laugh or if he's actually informing me about alchohol, but he will never cease to do both, love you and your content man keep being awesome.

I thought the point was he is out of work and can’t afford the expensive stuff anymore so he has to drink the cheap stuff.
I'd like to quickly point out that not all lambics are fruited, that's just the more popular "kriek" and "frambroise" variant of Lambic. Lambic can be just sour flat beer (the actual lambic lambic), a mix of 1,2 and 3 year old lambics, aka Geuze... or really any sour koelschiped beer from the Pajottenland

Just a quick note: Lindemans is the Belgian Brewery. Lindeman's (with the apostrophe) is the Australian Winery.

I accidentally discovered Lindeman's Raspberry Lambic and it was amazing. I HATE the taste of beer but this was the only thing I've found bearable, lol.

Consider trying a Belgian Wit, or a Berliner Weisse. They have some great flavor without much in terms of bitterness.

Lindemann's have always been delicious.
Not going to lie, I think I enjoy the videos where he's trying something good just as much, if not more than the ones where he's drinking the swill. Maybe a 2nd channel where PV3 reviews decent but affordable alcohol?

The cork usually indicates secondary fermentation. Champagne, for instance, is actually in a beer bottle. Beer has been aged with a cork or in barrels for a long time. I'm not sure if they do that secondary fermentation on lindeman's, but it's interesting to see nonetheless.
This is seriously my favorite channel on TH-cam now. So glad to see it starting to blow up already

Lindeman's lambics are fantastic, I had a friend recommend them years ago, glad you had something fun to taste this time.

oh wow. was not expecting him to be drinking something I had in my cabinet! nice to see.
The raspberry one (framboise) is delicious! I love mixing it with a dark beer. Gives it a chocolatey, coffee bite over the extreme sweetness. It’s called a Red & Black.
Fun fact - these bottles will explode if allowed to get cold enough. The cooler that my store keeps these in went runaway at the thermostat, temperature plummeted to about 0 degrees F (-18C). Lambics went boom, a couple tripels launched their corks, and the NA beers popped like balloons... but glass. Took FOUR HOURS to clean that cooler and get all the compromised bottles and six packs figured out from the survivors.
Tasty though. I like the Kriek. Only 3% ABV, more or less, and drinks like a soda.
This guy is a comedic genius. That "bitterness" joke was phenomenal. Maybe it is too smart, that's the only reason I can think of that this channel doesn't have a million subscribers.

Raspberry Lindemans is awesome too! I believe the ABV for that one is only 2.5% and I assume this version is similar.
Pairs well with a tonsure and some burlap.
Lindemans is my favorite beer, shame its so expensive in America. I remember it was cheap as hell to buy in France and Belgium when I first discovered it over there.
I'd be interested in seeing your take on organic or natural wines. Conestabile della Staffa makes some neat wines that don't taste much like the wines most people are used to drinking.
Not sure if you can get your hands on it, but I'd love to see a review of Two Brothers Domaine DuPage. It has always been my favorite beer.

Ahh, that's my kind of beer right there. (when I can get my hands on it) Be warned, if you get started down that road your beer expenses will go up significantly though. To anyone interested, Belgian breweries like 3 Fonteinen , Boon and Cantillion make some awesome wild fermented beers.
