Blueberry Old Fashioned

A different spin on an Old Fashioned! This version uses Blueberry Simple Syrup giving it a different kind of flavor and making a "pretty" drink that you'll love!
Ingredients and Instructions:
First, the Blueberry Syrup Recipe:
-1 Cup of Sugar
-1 Cup of Blueberries
-1 Cup of Water
-Bring to a low boil for 15 mins while stirring occasionally
-Remove from heat and strain through a mesh strainer into a bottle or jar
-Refrigerate, and it will keep for one to two weeks
Second, the drink:
-Place all contents into a stirring glass with ice
-3 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
-1/2 oz Blueberry Simple Syrup
-2 oz Bourbon (We used Blade and Bow this time)
-Stir and Strain into a whiskey glass over an ice ball or cubed ice
-Garnish with a few Blueberries
