And he would have gotten away with another booze cruise except for the fact that he managed to catch one of his tires on fire on the way home once. He got pulled over about a block from his apartment, arrested, and the car was impounded. It spent the summer outside in the heat in an impound lot while he went through the legal process of having his, I dunno, let's say, 3rd DUI of the past few years. But the thing was, there was this delicious beer that he had a keg of in the trunk that was maybe half full. The first thing he did when he got out and got his car back was to tap that bad boy. I tried it and it was... uh... awful. But he managed to finish it. Because that's what pros do.
Nobody will care, but your story reminds me of a story. Not a personal one. But one I find interesting. Catholics used to give up food for Lent. But one group of German monks wanted permission to drink their beer - a hearty liquid bread! - for Lent. The Pope wanted to see what it was they drank, so the brothers brought their beer across the Alps into Italy. In the warm Italian climate, however, the beer got skunky and undrinkable - so much so that when it finally got to the Pope the smell, never mind the taste, was so horrible the Pope gave them permission to drink the foul stuff to clean their souls!

You should make a Pink Gin Fizz My preferred recipe is as; 2-3 oz of gin 3 dashes of angustora bitters 1oz of both freshly squeezed lemon and lime juice 1/2 oz of simple or agave syrup shake with ice(or stir and add sparkling water[3-5oz] while stirring, if shaking add after and then double strain into an 10oz glass with ice) enjoy!!!
