i feel the same about it and in a way it's just like being in class at home because no matter how much people say you don't learn anything from watching video's. Show them a diy video of some one building something and showing the builder using the time to actually have their audience learn many things just through watching them work.... Sorry for my rambling's but i do find a lot of these remodel and renovation videos entertaining and informative.

I learned so much for real! Like for drywall. I didn't know that you needed a primer sealant. Thankfully I heard that before I applied a coat of paint to the big drywall patch I jut did. It's about 20x20" so I was glad I heard that before doing so.

Though my disabilities prevent me from tackling something like this myself, this is very informative and gives me enough knowledge to ask the right questions should I hire someone to do the work. You're an excellent resource for me to point friends and family to. It's also very interesting, and I've always had dreams of being able to do something like this as a profession, so you're fun to watch as well. :-) The bathroom is beautiful, so is the couple, and I'm going to go watch more of your videos.

I am very impressed. This man covered a lot of problem elements in a bathroom project that are sometimes hidden, and showed a quality way of doing things - which is not always a common thing with tradesmen. The only negative I would say was a little more focus on safety equipment, mainly because many DIYers are blind to risks, would be positive. Very good

I love this channel, and I love that the host/contractor doesn’t sugarcoat anything. If it’s trash he will say “this piece of crap” and he laughs hard at the DIY fails. That’s REAL. On HGTV they have to be likable and careful of what they say. If I would say “what kind of crap is this?”, I want to watch people who would say the same.

This made me chuckle. Redoing our kitchen and I found we had 5 different colors on the cabinets and 5 different patterns of wallpaper. Three of those wallpapers were still on the walls. None of these done by us. So far not had to take it back to studs. Piece milled cabinets from a much older house were put in before we bought it. We are taking out all cabinets and putting in new. New cabinets, sink, flooring countertop. Praying no long delays in getting cabinets.

Thank you so much for the video! Hubby and I are new homeowners of a 1972 house and I badly need to learn how to update our bathrooms ourselves.

Yo feeding a contractor is THE way to get their blessing haha and free work. We are always running behind, hungry, and have to pee all day long! lol

Yo Jeff. hope you and your fam are well in these serious times. for me, good time to redoing my bath completely. Wall in shower fully tiled and now ready to grout... Your videos were alot of help, so thanks so much. Only question i have is weather to calk OR grout at the bottom of the tiled shower. Per your instruction, I kept the wall board about 3/4" from the tiled floor, then brought my wall tile down to an 1/8" of my floor tile. I missed in your videos what you did. so appreciate your reply and help.

I didn’t think I’d like your videos just because they were long but I decided to give them a try and I really enjoy your videos, you’re good at what you do and you do beautiful work.

I wish I could hire you to remodel my house. You are the greatest. I can see how much you enjoy showing the right way of building. You enjoy teaching us too. I watch your videos on my tv where I can’t leave comments. WOW, I can work in my profession ( nursing) and fix a lot of things in my house.

I love the way you detail out the problem. it is very common practice when contractor come out do the work they do not remove the old debris from the job. the way do the job it is supposed to be done. I am a home owner and I like to do lots of project around my house because I love to do it. I enjoy your video very much and learn from it.

I’m loving the video for the work of course, but the dramatic music in the beginning is also intriguing!
