THIS is my very favorite BLACKFOOT Track - and I have ALL their wonderful albums - Just can't get enough of them - Guitar magic as it should be played, and songs as they should be sung, straight from the quickened pulse - Long Live Blackfoot!!!!
Dedicated to Rickey Medlocke and the Blackfooties for create the Best Southern Rock Band (I like them more than the Skynyrds)since I was a teenager. Thanks So Much !!!Salud y Vida Pa'lante !!! Cheers and Life On !!!
GREAT track from their most underrated album, featuring Ken Hensley of Uriah Heep fame. Man this was a really cool album. Because of my age, it is the one that introduced me to their superior back catalogue. This was still a great album, though, and this song was, I believe, a bit to real to be consumed by the masses. Viva Blackfoot...forever my Southern Jam.
I sure do miss the 70s and 80s. The music today is not even the same. Sometimes I wish I could find a time machine and go back in time. Life was much easier and everyone enjoyed life! Is this your favorite song?
Blackfoot added keyboards WAY before 38 Special. Yet, they both kept the southern rock flavor. Now I think Ricky is with Skynard, good catch by those guys.
@@CraigSvoboda Rickey played drums on the Complete Muscle Shoals album and he sang four songs. Rickey and Greg T Walker both needed a job when Blackfoot ran out of gigs to play. So they ran to Ronnie, the smart singer/manager of Skynyrd. Ronnie hired the guys on the record. Greg T Walker played bass and his bass parts replaced the bass parts of Larry Junstrom, who moved on to 38 Special. But I'm sure Larry had many lean years in between.
When Ken Hensley came ..this album changed into half UK/US...love it !!!...RIP KEN HENSLEY..JAKSON SPIRES for Rickey Medlocke when he joined Lynyrd Skynyrd..thought that's all right..he go great....love. Rick..and Blackfoot in the early days.
I loved this song, One of my favorite. I would have thought it would have been a bigger hit then it was. I went to see them in concert and they did not even play this song.
Wow I keep looking at the girls on here No tattoos No chunks of iron hanging out there face No hair 5 color green Women like these in the video is gone forever and never coming back
Marauder, from '81, was classic Blackfoot. Siogo, their next album, was a big letdown, the beginning of the blackfoot sellout and their sad attempt to fit in with the 80's MTV crowd and the pestilent influence of pretty boys and trendy synths. Their management said "lose the tall, bald, ugly guy as he doesn't appeal to girls. Write songs that appeal to kids." Kudos to tall, bald guy, Charlie Hargrett, for leaving after this album, because it mostly sucks. There are a few good 'Blackfoot' songs like 'White man's land' where the spirit of the old band was still alive, but Ken Hensley? WTF were they thinking? The next album, 'Vertical smiles' is even worse and sadly, marked the end of a once great band.
shatnershairpiece I always thought Siogo was actually a good album. It still had that same feel as the Strikes, Tomcattin, and Marauder albums but just with added keyboards. Vertical Smiles is the album where everything fell apart pretty much instantly.
Always loved Blackfoot seen them in 81 with Ted Nugent and crocus And as far as I'm concerned Blackfoot ruled that stage that night The 15000 people in the audience got rocked🎸
Ricky Medlocke is so highly Underrated...Awesome Guitar Player And Frontman
and AMAZING SINGER!
Who tf ever underrated him
Absolutely!!!!!
Rickey is a triple threat!!! Vocals, guitar slingin drumming ...oh
. And acting!!!!!

2020 and Blackfoot is still kicking ass and taking names
Are they still rpckin' ????
No...they are NOT
Meaning that they still rock
Totally different personel.
Dude they are still touring
God, how I love this song... it takes me back to my teenage 80s! Thanks for the video👍
This video is funny and horrible at the same time. But it's Blackfoot, so it deserves thumbs up.
I second that motion!
Only because of #RickieMedclocke & #Charlie
Oh yeah funny and creepy. Lol. Singing bus driver, singing papa, that is funny stuff.
@JohnnyFinVB And Greg, Jakson, and Ken.
Absolutely
2022 🤘 still better than most nowadays ✊

Lucky you, in their heyday.

Great song. That's how great songs work, they last forever.
One of their best albums....period.
Suck It Or Get Out. SIOGO. Classy band.
I love the super heavy Marauder, but I like this song and "Morning Dew," too. Completely different sound, but still great!
Also, "Send Me an Angel" is probably Blackfoot's best song. The power is insane, and Hensley's keys add to it.
Tämä on helvetin hyvää rokkia!

Крутая песня и клип классный!
Great. Straight and tru. Rickie Medloke was my teenage idol. Super frontman. Great melodist. Hatts off.
Thanks dude. This song is awesome!!! I hear over and orver and never get tired of it!
Siogo is simply their best album! I’m glad Ken Hensley is on that album too!
yay, the Suck It Or Get Out album. SIOGO.
SIOGO or Vertical Smiles? Which classy album to put on next?
I was going to thumb up this video but I noticed that I had already done that years ago!!!

Great Band 👍 Great Record 1983 Siogo with Ken Hensley on the Keys

Rickey too damn likable. A fantastic Frontman too.
What a band!!!
Wish they still made music like this today
Blackfoot is way way underrated
way overrated
Holy crapballs this is so cool and so corny. I can't decide if I should share this with all my friends or take a shower.
Me identifico con esta csncion y vibra mi alma y mi espiritu con ella
Rick was a good looking boy, must be in our native American DNA 😸
Use to love them back i the 80's . Fantastic vokal. Think i've still got all the LP 👊👊👊👊
A masterpiece 💕
yay, suck it or get out, siogo. yay, vertical smiles, the pussy cover album.
Excellent. One of all time favourites in 80's
GRAT SONG❤
Blackfoot as an entire band was underrated. They are up there with Skynyrd Hatchet and Almond brothers. Of course this song isn't one of there best.
Great band, great song, great record, corny video.
hahah the Bus driver !! - love this vid
