It's been two years since we last checked out a Corsair One prebuilt PC, but the series is returning for 2024 and it is bigger than ever - literally! Sporting a new design with wood front panel, larger micro-ATX motherboard and liquid cooling for both CPU and GPU, it is safe to say Corsair is not holding back with the latest iteration of the One. We review the flagship model, with i9-14900K, RTX 4090 and 64GB RAM, priced at an eye-watering £4699.99…

Corsair: installs a B760 motherboard because it was the only option with gen 5 nvme support.
Also Corsair: proceeds to install a gen 4 SSD....
Corsair: They're better value parts! 🤓☝🏻
(It costs 2000+ $!)
This case looks like it visited the 70s. Wood panels and RGB is a very hippy thing to have together.
As for me, remove the RGB, make the start button a black on black subtle design. The case would look far better.
It's also grossly expensive.
the RGB nonsense ruins the aesthetic of the wood, yes you can turn it off - but the power button is also hideous.
Very 1970s vibe with the wood front. Pretty cool and a nice contrast against the clinical metals Apple world uses.
Love the design!
I cant put my finger on it but somehow this case reminds me of the high end cases of the early 2000s. I think it's the grooved plastic.
Edit:
apperantly it's grooved aluminium not plastic,
looked like plastic on photos/videos
One of our team members said it was like 1970's 'hifi' with the wooden fronts.
I wish I could buy everything!! You guys review some really good products❣❣❣
Glad you like them!
The wood frame looks super cool!
It’s dividing opinion ! Some love it. Others hate it.
@@KitGuruTech I just love it
Was there much difference in cooling with the fabric filters removed?
Also it's weird how it has a 240 side bracket but Corsair cheaped out with a 240 AIO.
wow what a hardware spec in such a small size. no wonder its a bit bigger mind you. that hardware is insane. as is the pricing !
They advertise this as having "optimised" cooling that keeps it always under control, but testing proves that's not the case. I think that given the price of £4700, the under load noise is completely unacceptable to be honest.
I think the only thing they optimised was finding the lowest amount of cooling hardware they could use, while keeping the machine running. They optimised their profits, not the cooling.
We'll eventually end up with an exterior cooling unit, akin to an Air conditioning unit! Or maybe a radiator unit that fits the gap in a sash window?
we are following up with an indepth analysis of the cooling in another video shortly - should be interesting - stay tuned.
we have published a thermal deep dive here - hope it helps: th-cam.com/video/7CVAikPyytU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=KitGuruTech
wow I was not expecting the cooling to be so good in this, thought it was going to be a disaster - well done corsair ! (and its not often I say that)
Excellent review. £4700 is a swingeing markup. I'm not impressed with that GPU cooler. You mentioned the cooling of the VRMs, but it also looks like it blocks use of the bottom x4 / x16 slot. Is that the case or can you fit a card like 10 Gb ethernet or video capture card?
we are following up with an indepth analysis of the cooling in another video shortly - should be interesting - stay tuned.
@@KitGuruTech Excellent!
Great review. Seems like some spec but that price. Jaw dropping.
Yes it’s not for the faint of heart
jaw dropping is an understatement.
I kinda dig the case, not too sure about the power button. Not gonna pay a rib for it tho, would only consider the case, but sadly it isn't sold separately.
I really like that new wooden panel. The button could have been made to look a bit more sleek. Yes I’m picking holes I guess
Nah you're right. It looks like a dollar store add-on when it could have left the aesthetic alone. Or been a solid brass button with the corsair logo embossed on that. But this looks like a plastic button in the middle with a light behind it. Because it is. When you're paying 5 Gs and the case looks 1G.
My guess is the reasoning behind the custom BIOS is that newer BIOS versions dont allow undervolting on B760 without tripping into current excursion protections that can really hurt performance.
So it will be a BIOS that uses an older microcode version which can skirt that problem I reckon.
The lower wattage of an AMD CPU might have really helped with the noise, even if it would have been slower in some respects.
Ultimately... It's too much money especially with next gen right round the corner.
Build yourself a compact matx build with the same specs AND buy a 4k qd oled monitor and you'll still save a few quid...
@6:30
I’d like to correct you if I may. You mentioned that Corsair is cooling both the die and memory/VRM on the 4090. That is incorrect. The GPU AIO is surprisingly only cooling the die, the the rest of the GPU PCB is cooled by the fan alongside the 120mm AIO.
I think the design is flawed. Using the worlds most power hungry CPU and cooling it with a 120mm AIO is silly, especially when pairing it with the worlds most power hungry GPU and not cooling its memory or VRM, all on top of a B series motherboard that lacks any support for PCIe 5!? For £4700!!??
Lastly, Corsair in their infinite wisdom removed support for iCUE in this system. You simply cannot install it.
What would you do then if you had Corsair peripherals like a mouse and keyboard? You would need iCUE to properly use them.
no, i say at that timestamp that the GPU AIO contacts the die and memory (via a copper plate) which is correct. the VRM is completely uncovered however as i show and say in the video - it is not cooled by the AIO
Not sure i like the wood finish at the front, preferred their last design - much more elegant
I quite like the wood. Contrary to opinion here !!
Those 4k gaming benchmarks are just insane. Bit expensive for me though!
I like the last design better
Remind me of cloth wardrobe
please report spam if you see it, we remove it when we can. Let us know what you think of this monster system - would you pay £4700 for it ?
You guy have any idea to sell the old gen Corsiar ones?? 😅😅
I cannot see dishing out this much for this system with the limited noisy cooling and strangled cpu output. It is a nice looking case but Corsair has used premium parts and stepped them down to match the cooling system
Ryzen 7950x3d can shine in this case in my opinion, nice review Thanks
No problem 👍
As it turns out the system shows very good CPU score. It would be nice to extend CPU cooling radiator to 240. Looks very stylish. Well done Corsair.
The old model (i64) had an issue where it would ruin the m2's due to heat, later models (i300) added a heat sink to prevent this but looks like these dont have them! Imagine these will have the same issues...
Acer apex looks interesting :)
Need more wood on cases!
i can undestarnt the m2_1, and be control by the chipset. not the cpu. but why a 179usb board. and use 200W pl1/2 that is low. The ram looks nice. that one i have my eye on it. the idea of the case is nice. but i think i7 will be best fit without cutting so much
The lion, the witch, and the Corsair One i500
have to say, we did get a chuckle of that !
Not a bad system for the size. Always compromises.
case looks lovely but I watched Der Bauer's review of this product and it was pretty damning. The liquid cooling thermals were dreadful and he achieved better with a simple swap to 25mm fans for which there is enough room, a low profile air cooler from Noctua and then reversing the fans to give better cooling to the GPU. The results were noticeably better affirming the point that the use of liquid is poor. If you're going to use liquid then at least do it properly instead of cutting corners for an extortionate price tag.
We are following up with an in-depth look at the cooling. Will be soon. Interesting results.

Do they make one without the wood ? Maybe I missed that.
no, it's Light Wood or Dark Wood finishes only
I liked the series specifically for how compact it was... now it's like, why?
I'm sorry but why does this chassis reminds me of my Grandad's waldrobe, I can't unsee it 🤔 The start button looks like waldrobe door handles.
I love the wood personally, think it looks great. It’s a much better looking case design than their recent ITX efforts. However the cost of the system is ridiculous and a 14900k cooled with a 120mm AIO is nonsense.
Seems like you either love or hate the wood !

Thank you for posting this on a crap bank holiday! Been stuck indoors all day as it's absolutely chucking it down outside. Well done KG.
Glad you enjoyed it
Der8auer in his review did not like the the PC to include the cooling and use of fans. I agree. I think your review has not been thorough enough. If a customer buys Corsair accessories to go with this case such as headphone and mouse and no iCue to go with it? What kind of decision was that?
You can still install icue. Fairly sure a lot of people will be happy to don’t have to as it’s a resource hog.

Wow, that's a pretty loud system under gaming load for the money!!
Only has a 120mm rad for the cpu.
holt crap that is some system, it cost more than my car !
They should have used amd in this. That cpu setup is fire 😢
The spec is great but I can’t say I’m a fan of that dad vibe style wood finish with the I’ll suiting power button. And let’s be honest you buy this for the looks and size. It’s a fail for me
Wait, so suddenly its possible to cool a 14900k with a single rad? :/
we have published a thermal deep dive here - hope it helps: th-cam.com/video/7CVAikPyytU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=KitGuruTech
Der Bauer has quite a different opinion.
This review is obviously bought and paid for by Corsair.

Watched this again. Not sure this is worth close to the asking price tbh
I had that same wood paneling in my bedroom in the 70s. Looks cheesy and cheap to me.
a few of our team said the wood panelling was very 70s as well
Expensive. Pretty cool. But the wood ruins it for me.
Fair enough!
After watching der8auer's review, I am a bit disappointed in what you missed. Usually your reviews are capture more of the issues Roman mentioned in his video, especially the woefully inadequate cooling solution and extremely loud fans (including the choice to go with a slim vs. full fan). I feel like you should've been more critical, especially given the price point, but not mentioning the terrible cooling solutions for the GPU and CPU, I can only hope others who are considering buying this also find der8auer's review to watch as well before committing such an atrocious amount of money to this build.
we are following up with an indepth analysis of the cooling in another video shortly - should be interesting - stay tuned.
@@KitGuruTech just watched your follow-up, excellent video! I think Corsair should really get their act together before sending these units out to reviewers though, really causes a bit of a stir when different results happen because they shipped with different fan profiles.
CORSAIR ONE i500 PC - Wood Bright: Liquid Cooled Intel Core i9-14900K and NVIDIA RTX 4090, 2TB M.2 SSD, 64GB DDR5, Win11 Pro (PE)
€5,499.99 it's a joke for the price, I make 2 pcs
Imo they should have just put in a 14700K but I suspect that they expect ppl to focus more on the idea of having a 14900K giving the illusion of more power when in reality its much less. I have a Corsair 2000D w/ a 14700K & 4090 TUF OG OC which is smaller and easily out performs this system. The only real down side is the case build quality is not as good but this thing costs like $5000 which you can damn near build 2 pc's for that price. What a cash grab.
Imho it makes very little sense....top of the line parts starved by lack of cooling.
Very expensive for what it offers but hey some people like it small no matter how much it cost
Heck I thought it cooled great based on what Dominic showed us.
@@rufusmctavish1164
It's running kinda slower than a stock 14900k
Quite odd choices, considering it is a new case, designed from the bottom up. NR200P V2 style, as it is taller, side 280 for CPU and 280 top ports GPU. Also poor choice of waterblock. Should’ve a full cover. Slim fans, for such a not so small case is another poor choice. Should’ve been at least 25mm ones. But have RGB and quite a lot of people with more money than common sense will buy it.
Wood finish for man who wears smoking jacket and slippers.
Very 1970s !
4699 $ ?! Yet it has only a 120mm AIO ?! on a B760 board with zero CPU oc abilities?!
Nuts. The 7800x3d would have been a much better choice and used much less power ! Those 4k t1q1 scores on Read are bad....
What is corsair thinking with this? They wanted gen5 ssd support but installed a gen 4? Sells you a K sku in a b series motherboard? Tiny aio on 14900k, janky looking gpu with exposed pcb, Yet they still asking close to 5k??
Come on corsair you guys haven't had a good product in years, since the 4000d/5000d air flow cases.
The CPU has been power-limited. There is no way a 120mm AIO with a single SLIM fan is cooling a 14900k at full power.
correct, it's a 200W PL1. we have published a thermal deep dive here too: th-cam.com/video/7CVAikPyytU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=KitGuruTech
What’s up with the wood ? Very uncorsair like
It certainly seems to be splitting opinion.
no full gpu block, no thanks. Especially for that price.
might be difficult in that size and shape
@@amdforlife5591 it’s a 22L case, terribly designed.

@@KitGuruTech Thanks for doing a deeper dive on this.
Looks lovely but the specifications are awful.
B760 motherboard, you cant tell me corsair and MSI cant OEM a Z790 micro-ATX board just for corsair
No wifi-7, yes not super crucial but means having wifi 7 it is compatible with future routers
No thunderbolt at all, well this is obviously because if the B760 board but definitely, should of been addressed considering the Z690 i400 (US only) had two thunderbolt ports.
120mm radiator instead of 240mm, were they have that fan could of put a 240mm radiator there
Looking at the graphic card, looks like this will have to come out to upgrade the SSD in the original slot how solid it is i dont know.
Not everyone wants dark or light wood, they should of also just had a black only option as well.
Software for the computer doesn’t support iCUE, who ever allowed this to happen needs to have a very serious word with R&D team as this should of been high priority, if have the entire ecosystem of cordair but your software won’t support the PC this is bad
Numerous decisions Corsair made here just dont seem sensible to me.
It would be a shame if people splashed out on this product because i think they'll ultimately be disappointed further on down the road.
A custom config from PCSpecialist or Cyberpower would crush this for price-to-performance
The Corsair One has lost its cool, I think. The i300 (being so compact and so powerful) made it genuinely intriguing, as ITX systems are a faff to build and not always available as System Integrator PC's
Now the i500 is big, it's unappealing, not particularly cool, and overpriced
What old todger in Corsair thought this was a modern design eh ?
I don’t like icue. Waste of time. But great review.
Thanks
Fabulous lashes
The only good thing about this system is the case. 120mm AIO for the 14900k is a joke, the GPU cooling is a joke, mobo is whatever....wtf
Considering all the reports since the 4090 launch, the gpu power cable looks pretty flexible.
They really be into the wood panels, matches my Atari 2600 perfectly.
Governments raise taxes all the time so i cant blame Corsair for doing the same. If you really want the brand, pay the tax.
noisy hotbox, no fan control, and the wood panel is ugly, fractal north is top notch imo
I'm not a fan of these wood finishes.
After spending the UK equivalent of 550 pounds to deck out my build with Corsair's link ecosystem, I can honestly say that I will NEVER EVER buy Corsair again for as long as I'm a PC gamer...Their hardware and software is about as reliable as putting your entire PC into a bath filled with water and hoping it works. MSI and Lian-Li, while still horrible, at least have SOME SEMBLANCE of working order for their integration and above 50% uptime.
Slapping wood on a case doesn’t really make it organic or cool looking. Sorry. It’s aged it massively compared to the older versions.
I’m really not digging that ancient wood style aesthetic. Very poor choice.
$4500 FOR A PC THATS GOING TO CRASH ALOT NAR KEEP ILL GET RYZEN
check der beurs review he slammed it overpriced , way to noisy and the cpu is limited to 200w max due to the totally useless 120 aio

It’s certainly dividing opinion that’s for sure.
Great review but no thanks
What a hunk of junk and waste of money. Terrible waste of space for a 22L design. I’ve seen cases at 15L with dual 280 custom loops. Not to mention the cost 😂
Box too expensive, not future-proof, because no new cpu comes.other graphics cards with fan has no space. don't buy
that 4090 looks hot garbage
This is the only positive review of this garbage.
You lose any credibility gushing over and over this overpriced trash.

120MM cooler on an I9. What are we doing here. How about air cooling the 4090 like a normal person and using that 240MM space for the CPU. How do you make a build like this and think, "Perfect, we only had to neuter the CPU to make this almost overheat".
