Devon! Did you say Yukon instead of yucca? It sounded like you said yucca in the captions then you said later about 16 minutes in that you are adding the potatoes. If it is Yukon potatoes please confirm and does it matter how you prepare the potatoes if so? Thank you for the great information and engaging clip and for your answer. I appreciate it!
watched this and immediately went downstairs and made gyeranjjim myself with some dashi stock i had on hand. a delicious, literally 5-minute meal. hats off Hana
This is why I love eggs so much. They’re so versatile and with just a few additions, you can make so many different dishes. You don’t need BA’s pantry to cook eggs.
Eggs are my favorite food in any form. Its the perfect food. Super versatile. I always do the shakshuka type but my fave one is a spinach egg omelette I havent got the gyeranjjin right. Somehow ends up super watery
Yeessss, the egg soufflée/steamed egg. Hoping someone would make it. Great for when you're sick cause it's light and can hold quite a bit of flavour. Especially with rice
What are your thoughts on scrambling your eggs but not whisking them before pouring in the pan? You just move with the spatula in the mid heat pan. I like to cook them and see the difference between whites and yolk cooked. In Costa Rica we call those "huevos pateados" (translates to kicked eggs) and it's similar but different to French style scrambled eggs.
carla i adore your spiel as you cook the food. I really loved the "LOL" levels of lemons. Whoever said you would present better without your remarks was pretty mean. That person could just choose not to watch. This looks like a recipe i want to try because i really love chickpeas. Thanks for being so funny and adding joy to my life.
I've seen plenty of Spanish style tortillas made like Devonn's, but never saw scallion seasoned oil before. Will have to give that a try at some point, and not just with eggs! Picture that going along with a scramble and put over rice, that would be lovely!
Chris: "If you didn't have [toasted sesame seeds], you could use something like furikake..." My friend, we may have very different ideas of what constitutes a basic pantry.
For a lot of people that grew up where I did, having furikake is as basic as having soy sauce, but having something like Worcestershire sauce is rare and not basic. It’s good that this video has represented different versions of “basic” in that way 🙂
i'm normally not one of those "if you make this you have to get the ingredients at a farmers' market or fancy grocery store" people bc i think that's unrealistic for average income people for many dishes, but for french omelettes you NEED great butter & fresh, farm raised eggs. it makes such a massive difference. a french omelette with just eggs, butter, salt, and chives is perfect as is when you get good ingredients. doesn't need anything else
and since brad has his own chickens and can probably get fresh butter pretty easily (if not, kerrygold is good), it's easier for him to make a great french omelette than most people
I don't know if the lighting has changed but, I never realized how blue Brad's eyes are. I've seen him on this show for years but, it's only recently that I've really been like, Dayum, that dude's good lookin.
Both sides of my family make microwave soufle eggs. Me favoring the French omelette. Family stares at me. Me watching them enjoy it. Now me watching BA do it too.
@@mls01981 pleasure, I hope you enjoy it. I keep single serves of white rice in the freezer and the omelette cooks in the 2mins it takes the rice to heat so it's a gem of a super fast and tasty option for me 🥚🇹🇭 👌🏻
Crazy how brad chose the most sophisticated but simple dish. Not what i was expecting at all
love how he had a fork and knife but ate it directly off of the knife & didn't use the fork he was holding at all
right? I follow him on insta, and he is becoming really rugged in his farm life. love to see him still bang out the classics
Brad went to culinary school..
Soo crazy
No salt?
Devonn is such a graceful, beautiful and stylish addition. Love the Caribbean Heritage shinning through.

chris's scrambles eggs and rice have basically been putting me through college thus far.. found it online and i make it constantly.
Inés kills this segment EVERY single time. Just when I think I can’t love her anymore she breaks out the cast iron - what a woman!
You feel better about yourself now?
Inés always knows what's up ! Her recipes are consistently incredible
She is so fat Jesus Christ
@@AS-qo4se and what about it?
except for how to pronounce shaKshuka 😅I'm honestly surprised no one on staff corrected her...
the recipe was excellent, though, will def be trying it

Watching Brad Leone make a French omelet is something I had no idea I was longing to see. It's basically all I'll ever need.
Hearing him attempt to pronounce "buerre" made my day 💀
He's made it like three times on this channel.
I was happy his was first so I didn't have to skip around the whole video to watch Brad before I quit watching
@@chrissinclair8597 YO 🤭🤣
He was a joy, but that was more well done than I've ever seen anyone make a French omelet. Which, frankly, I might like better, at least at first.
2 eggs, a whole stalk of green onions, 3 shakes of fish sauce. Cooked up omelette style and served over hot rice! Mmmm my favorite Sunday breakfast :)
Sounds really good, I think I know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow.
@@TheDarklingWolf awesome!
Yum!
I need to go buy eggs now. I have everything but eggs 😂 thank you!
@@TheDarklingWolf how was bfast?
I really enjoyed Devonn’s recipe. I like the classics, but I think his was particularly fantastic.
Absolutely!
Yucca! Yam! Custardy egg - ah-MAZING!
I love Inés, I could listen to her tell me about food forever, love her!
That last guy needs his own segment/show. Quite entertaining!
I love this!! I wanna see more of this style of video, where each cook focuses on an ingredient and how they individually like to use it! 🥰
My go to egg recipe is "Bauernfrühstück" - pan fried potatoes, onions and bacon with eggs!
Does that translate to something like "farmers breakfast"?
@@Bojangles6 yes
@@Bojangles6 sure does Bo Farmer
@@sauersaxon lol, I don't sprechen much deustch but I was told long ago that Bauer is farmer.
So that spicy crepe is basically an Indian omlette. Put the chopped herbs in the eggs next time. Tomatoes and onions go very well too.
Spiced egg crepe is basically Indian omlette
Love these types of videos. Everyone has loads of ingredients and Brad always rocks up with a simple but delicious method
He didn't even put raisins in it, weird :P

Hana's dish looks like something I really want to try myself.
Watching Brad make eggs gives me mega sensations of dejavu.
I love that watching Ines, they’re still keeping the OG recipe in mind with not mixing meat and milk. But imma go try this recipe… love it.
Really impressed, and kind of surprised, how Brad managed to pull off a perfect french omelette
I've always been a fan of the Bon Appétit videos but I have to say, I'm loving the diversity these days.

Every one of these look delicious. Particularly that tortilla egg dish. YUM.
Brad. Great job of describing literally one of the hardest dishes to make right. 🫣

I grew up on these! they're lovely and We call them "huevos arrepentidos" ( Regretful eggs) here in Mexico!
This was my first introduction to a three of these chefs and I am really interested in seeing more of Ines and Devonn
Devonn is so cute and always adding fun to the show
All the recipes look really delicious, might try Kenra's first, really spoke to me :)
Chris' version I could eat every morning
My favorite egg thing besides egg salad and deviled eggs is a simple fried egg sandwich.. bead, mayo (Duke’s preferably), cheese and onion
Chris wins this one for me. I want to try that tomorrow morning, lunch, or dinner.

Ngl brad should have his own show
Ba is holding him back
I have no idea where Ines came out of but her meals use ingredients I actually have
When he said jamaica and I, not looking, was like “oh cool hibiscus?!”
Chris is right, they are OK alone but do best with some support. Even Brad's lovely, simple omelet could really use some cheese imo.
