Idk if this was just a 1 time thing for me, but I just created like 50 fortify restoration potions and drank them all and it still increases everything so u don't have to equip and unequip the armour
um i did the first step (restoration potion making) that worked but why wont the insane percentages work on the other potions?

HE is good ALL the time.
It's not actually 842 damage. The Bow Damage info is glitched and only shows the first 3 digits. It's probably closer to 84 million damage (84257567 Damage). You can see the real number in the "Damage tab" that is in the lower part of the screen when you equip it.

Personally, i used this to make an infinite carry weight piece of jewelry because it is a QoL improvement to not have to run back home after every dungeon and it's definitely helpful on longer tracks like Dawnguard and Dragonborn.
Yeah until u unload after a week and the chest u put all the items in is so crammed it crashes the game i nnow because its happened to me

Pro tip: crank up your enchanting to 100 where you can put 2 enchantments on 1 item then do the restoration loop then make a insane fortify enchanting potion then put fortify alchemy and smithing on one ring and you never have to do the loop again.

I tried this, the alchemy bonus only stays at 95 million for 30 SECONDS, what am I doing wrong
@pptaco8805 pop the potion, than take off all armor that has the enchantment on it and than put it back on
You only need fortify alchemy. At that point just enchant something with fortify smithing like a ring or something and just put it on when you are smithing

grind alchemy levels easy by making potions using salmon roe, garlic, and nordic barnacle. gain a level each potion and they are valuable for selling. you can get salmon roe easy by using Fus on fish that swim near the surface. when they die, they drop roe. you can also use a salt pile to fortify restoration instead of one of those fish. easier to get by looting barrels in the riften fishery.
This is probably the most iconic glitch of all time

@@XDbitionist Doesn't look like your question got answered - the answer is yes/no. The Unofficial Patch *did* put a cap on the damage but it's to prevent the damage going so high it turns negative (number overflow) and therefore making it more likely to cause hard crashes.
Since you are playing with mods, there are also standalone mods that disable the fix the Unofficial Patch people did, but you go back to potentially bricking your save if you go negative in the damage category. I would highly recommend getting Ordinator because the enchanting tree now allows you to put THREE enchantments (albeit for only a single item, and no, not even console commands can allow you to do it again) at once.
A single tear was shed when you went to buy a bow from the smiths instead of the Drunken Huntsman archery store across from warmaidens....feels bad man.

Are you using the unofficial skyrim patch mod? If so, disable it while doing any exploits because they "bug fixed" a lot of then out of the game.

Tested it for anyone wondering, you can make an armor set with no magicka cost for any spells, infinite carryweight, perfect sneak, instant health and stamina regen, perfect lockpicking. Tried alchemy and pickpocketing enchants, but it didnt work. You can also use the glitch alchemy set to make expensive potions of any kind, sell one and max speech. For anyone looking for an easy legendary
I ended up with a helmet with like a billion Magicka regen and an amulet with bout the same health regen. Immediately kinda bored. Killed a dragon with one swipe of an iron dagger too 😭. Might lock this stuff away
It's been 6 years since I saw ESO pull off this glitch on Skyrim SE, and it is amazing that in 2023, people are either re-experiencing this crazy glitch or experiencing it for the first time.
If you are playing with mods, I would highly recommend getting Ordinator and Apocalypse because the updated magic/perks that these mods bring takes this to another level. My favorite thing to do is to get the Absorb Health, Absorb Magicka, and Absorb Stamina enchantments, pull this glitch off, and equip all three onto a single sword or dagger (via Ordinator's "Miracle" perk that allows you to put THREE enchantments at once). Ultimate vampire sword.
The only thing I don’t like about using console commands or cheats is that it takes the complete fun out of breaking the vanilla game. But the fact that something like this can happen in the vanilla game is crazy
My favorite part about this glitch is that when I was younger I lost my save data on Skyrim playing legit I was on my hike to fight the ebony warrior for the first time and was so sad. my father said he could help me, he did the restoration glitch and gave me my favorite armor at the time simple fur but it had the defense of dragon bone. I was pretty young at the time and he got me my favorite weapons which were the glass weapons because they look like diamond weapons from Minecraft. I had a glass dagger with 500 dmg but for some reason it would one tap everything when my 1500 sword wouldn’t. My point was he must have gone out of his way to learn the restoration glitch pretty early and he never spoiled my fun. However must note I didn’t realize until playing Skyrim again recently the reason the game felt so easy as a kid and why it was so hard now, the reason was because of my father.
Dose the installed content patch the this glitch? Beacuse after taking the better fortification potion it resets back to the original stat
Also since it’s instant 100 speech you can just keep resetting it and going back to 100 with 1 sale. That’s faster than resetting sneak again and again with the graybeards
Everytime I do it, my enchantments go back down to original levels after the potion wears off. Like I'll have 75% magic regen and then it'll drop back down to 20% or whatever
This is patched but no one will admit it.
I just did this with armor too. I basically am invincible and undetectable lol.
Health, healing rate, stamina, stamina rate, magic, magic rate, resist all four magics, Stealth and heavy armor.
Am assuming that this will NOT work if you have the unofficial mod installed, right?

i recommend not going over 5 times when you're making the potions. After that, you start crashing. Then again, thats just me but that is my recommendation

You should make a guide on getting all the achievements or atleast the ones that seem harder

Tysm, was trying methods from other videos but your one worked while the others didn't. I guess drinking the potion unequiping and requiping is beter than unequip drink requip.

When i tried to do this method it seemed to work but not work at the same time. It wouldn't go over 108% and itll go down then back up. Does not having those exact 5 points in alchemy not make it work? Some clarification would be awesome. Thanks
yes it won’t work without those perks
Instead of increasing it decrease and remains constant. nothing works
You can use 1 of either fish and a salt pile too instead of using 2 fish together and not have to collect as many.
Just tried it but without leveling up alchemy on steam. But the method is not working. I think its patched cus i saw the weird angle change when i do the potion making the 2nd or 3rd time and the effects of restoration potion is only stuck at 31%

Amen, thanks. Also, I have an amazing story if anyone's interested. One day I was driving home and I felt the presence of the Lord, come down to me from above. It was as real as anything and I felt so comfortable with Him.
I knew if I asked Him to play a song on the radio, He would.
So I said "Ok Lord, play Come as you are..."
I didn't know what station it was on or anything, but I turned the radio on and the song started playing right on the spot, perfectly...
I started getting flooded with chills inside, trembling, and crying tears of joy. When I got home, He stayed with me for 10 minutes till I got out of the car.
I've been getting amazing prayers answered for around 6 years since, because that experience made me stop doubting when I pray, and I follow Biblical instructions, best I can.
It’s much simpler just to focus on fortify enchanting potion and then make another pair of helms gloves ring and necklaces that has that extra bit of alchemy. That way you can make a potion of fortify whatever whenever you want.
Too bad there is no fortify enchanting on the game. Only them sad potions.

If you drink a glitched restoration potion and then equipet the talos amulet, you will have 0 COOLDOWN for all shouts

So i feel like the guide's missing a few steps or something.... I cant get the alchemy enchantment to go past 13%. And im following this guide & other similar ones to a T.
I dont have enchanting perked or levelled up at all. So my base enchantment is at 8%. But it wont go higher than 13.
Nvm. I was playing regularly for a few hours before I tried this. A restart fixed it up. So yeah to anyone that finds its not working past a certain point: restart your game then try again.
Did the Abecean long fin get removed I’ve been searching from all traders and spawn locations for 3 hours and I can’t find them
did they fix this? becuase i cant seem todo it....i put on my stuff, craft the resto potion, drink it, unequip reequip, and then go back into the achemy table....but the amount of % stays the same...whats going on?

If you have the unofficial skyrim patch mod it wont work. I was having the same problem. Took the mod off and it worked for me. Hopefully it helps you guys out!

I actually did this steps and I duplicated the potions for 260 of them but somehow it autosave the game and crash because im in ps5 console but I know it works is good but I dont recommend if u want to take the risk of making you're game crash but is up to you .
I can confirm that alchemy and enchanting are the two most stupidly overpowered abilities in the game. I wanted to make a wooden sword to kill Alduin but I just have to settle with a Gothic metal as fuck daedric sword that absorbs all the enemy's health in one hit. Coupled with the unbounded storms leveling up ability, I have made my character unstoppable. In skyrim I am high-elf battle wizard vampire lord named "SLIPPY NAPKINS :D" yes the emoji is part of the name. Why? Because no one is going to take someone named SLIPPY NAPKINS :D seriously until I ride up on a flaming daedric horse in full daedric platemale armor wielding a sword that can end a dragon God.
Just doing the enchant and alchemy loop is strong enough. This is just obscenity.

160% damage from potions
Legendary smithing with 150% potions and 150% from gear.

Their are tons of fish in barrels around riften that respawn and salt.
Followed every instruction to the letter, and yet when I try it, the numbers don't go up at all. I also don't have the unofficial patch installed either, so I don't know why it doesn't work on Special Edition.

I'm having the same issue, I'll have crazy high restoration potions but blacksmithing is coming up as 4% and enchanting is coming up at 1%
Update, you can't let it get into the negatives to try to quick save before each step, just stopped a step before it got into the negatives and I could make insane enchant and armor upgrades still

@@AyooGuap yeah the problem was the ingredients! Whenever I used the fish instead of the yellow flowers it didn’t scale upwards

Do you have to be on the base version of the game? I have mods enabled and what not but it shouldn't effect my potions. I've tried this multiple times and it doesn't work for me.
I got about 65 mods and it worked for me, im on 1.5.97 tho I dont know if it was patched in 1.6
if you have the unofficial patch mod you may not be able to do this.

Yes...but according to some sources, the highest level of damage you can experience in-game (falling from the Throat of the World?) is 90,000 HP. Just getting 100K in heavy or light armor (depending what your build uses) sets you up for the rest of the game lol
After i did the loop...the game glitched and now im at lvl 97 alchemy making 4% fortify resto potions...all the poitions are acting if low level alchemy

My Alchemy Set is Broken but the thing is,once I start creating the Fortify Enchanting it doesn't work, the potion I create don't increase the potentcy to those digits instead they
go to their lowest potency and the Alchemy Set resets itself to 25%

Don’t know if you’re still looking for an answer but I ran into tho same issue. Make sure your enchantment is the same % on every piece of gear
Best way I've seen to overcome this is to do it in Dragonsreach so you can go straight from the alchemy table to the enchanting table without taking a step.
I would maybe do carry weight and stamina recovery but rest of it will kill the joy of the playing. What’s the point of playing Legendary if you’re invincible and one shot everything?
Dude I have no idea why this isn’t working for me. I spent 3 hours trying to figure this out. I’m playing on the series X and playing the digital special edition. Did the updates remove this? My alchemy is 40, I have benefactor and physician. I’m wearing the armor, make potion, drink potion, don’t exit, unequip and re-equip, and nothing. No change numbers. Just wasting resto pots. Can anybody please help me on this? Or at least tell me this doesn’t work with my setup?

I was thinking about making a Dragon Slayer bow like this because they are just annoying now and I typically get attacked by 2 at a time.
You forgot about an exploit in the game itself.You can wear a falmer helmet and a round circlet on your head at the same time so you'll have five items of enchantment for alchemy instead of four
I did all this but when I made the fortify enchanting and smithing potions they went to 4% even though my armor percentage was in the negatives in big numbers, I'm playing on PS4 and my account was suspended so I can't play online which means I can't use any mods so I don't think I have the unofficial patch mod and I did the glitch in Dragonsreach Keep so I don't know if I have to go to a specific Alchemy table or what.
Try the one in whiterun and don't over do the glitch or it'll reset itself
@@wildlastname5814 Yeah I kept going into the negatives, that was the problem but I ended up getting it to work. And I have permanent fortify alchemy enchants on my armor, what i did was i made a fortify enchanting potion after doing the glitch right and then i drank the potion before i applied the enchantments to the armor so now i don't have to do the glitch ever again i can just make the smithing potion.
@Kashgari funny story actually so i was in a group with my friend and a bunch of other people and we were telling German jokes and stuff, nothing racist/offensive tho and there was this man-child kinda dude who had like lost in a game he was playing or didn't get his way or whatever so he threw a temper tantrum and reported EVERYONE in the chat group and some of them got suspended including myself because PlayStation flagged our messages as harassment/racism/hate speech etc. even tho none of the jokes we told were offensive, matter of fact there were German guys in the group laughing at our jokes and they were joking too. To put it simply: My account was suspended for 2 whole months because a raging man-child got beat in a game

Need help. Im doing on it the special edition ps5 version and it isnt working. I thought it was because my enchantment level is low and i only got 5% in the alchemy set but i saw someone else do it with 5% alchemy too.
I ruined my play through with this, don’t do this unless your fairly endgame, or just want the infinite carry weight thing

They patched the original way from ps3/360 days but this was like the worst thing the world of skyrim saw. I launched myself off of the that of the world with 0 damage😂😂😂
