  • Many folks shy away from Spanish Mackerel. Even more will say they want me to remove the skin before they will take it. We decided to try a Taste Test Catch & Cook for the "Skin vs. No Skin" Challenge. You need to try it to decide for yourself.

    I love the Spanish Mackerel when cooked like this . I get the skin is crispy and very edible. I prefer skin off but this was a great comparison!

      Thanks for the feedback. There are many people that claim to not like Mackerel, but have never tried it. But once I can get people to try it, they do like it.

      No difference in taste. Thanks for asking, It seems everyone has a different idea of what they prefer however.
